I would be interested to see you use that shaft in a cheap second hand head. Like a ping or titleist head ( premium back in the day but now cheap ). Could that bring down the price but keep spin down too.
I seriously doubt that’s the shaft spieth and tiger used. There are versions of the shaft that club manufacturers use when they sell their clubs (probably that $95 version) and then the up market pro ones (closer to $400). Would be cool if you could do a comparison between the 2 versions and see if there is really a $300 difference.
It would have been interesting if you tested the Ram driver with the cheap shaft that came with it before you put the good shaft into that driver head so we could have compared what difference the good shaft made in the performance of the club, with only half the equation there is nothing to compare…???
How does the expensive driver head go on a cheaper shaft? Which is more important to the success of your drives – the head or the shaft? A follow-up video?

95% golfer, 3% head, 2% shaft.
I bought the box set of RAM Golf clubs, but it didn't come with a driver? 3 wood hybrid 5 thru SW and stand bag! 🐊🏌🇺🇸
I have often wondered what a quality shaft would be like in a cheaper headed driver and now I know, thanks for trying it for us James
If that was Tuesday when you were filming, I hope you got inside before it came down.

missed a trick here, you should of done track man with the old shaft and then the new
I’ve often wondered what putting a Ventus shaft in my old Ping G2 would be like. 😂
You guys still leaving the pin in??? Covid still a thing over there???
Shaft technology certainly does make a difference. However, head technology is way better than old or low budget technology
80+% head and the rest is shaft

I think a better option would be to buy a good quality second hand driver. This shows that that ram is pretty ordinary.
Now if you had a G10 Ping driver head, I think you'd be surprised. I keep mine because I can't get the newer G425s to go any further or straighter…
its the shaft not the head Necessarily.
I have a adams speedline fast 12 in a old graphite design shaft. I drive it over 275 all day and hit fairways. It's so easy hit too.
Looking down looks like old Titelist head
Stick with modern equipment…. You can’t make a silk purse out of a pigs ear. 😂😂😂

Person who swings it
Thanks to COR rules, it should be good on center strikes, the only question is how it handles off-center strikes.
Chris should be the next guest on your scramble interview series. I want to know more about this man.
You should put some lead tape on the bottom to see if that brings the spin down
Try the Ram shaft in the paradym head that will be interesting
'promosm' 😎
