never understood the Stevie chairshot reference. I do DDP Yoga and there's a part in one of the workouts where DDP asks Stevie for a chair and he says "thank god he's not hitting me with the damn thing" and it was funny, but never understood it

JBL is was one of those old-school bullies that if you stood up to him, he respected and befriended you for it. It’s the constant case with anyone who has had stood their ground with him from Blackman, Meanie to Joey Styles. That much I can respect about him. He even jokes about how Joey knocked him out.

Sounds like Stevie is being a professional, and protecting the business first with his storytelling, just like Taker. Stevie, sounds like a really great person, which is why I believe he's willing to eat shit rather than bury other talent; even if he'd be telling the truth.
Stevie was my next door neighbor as a kid when he worked at ECW. Was mad nice to all the kids. We would knock on his door just to say hi and to see a wrestler and he would always answer and say hi to us. Never forgot that, one of my coolest memories growing up.
