4: your grips are all wet because you left them next to your ball in the pond.
5: your favorite manufacturer just released a new set.
6: the shaft was damaged when you hit the three after hitting the tree.
7: the head broke when you hit the rock aster thinning it into the next postcode.

  2. Re-groove your slots, sand the face with 240 grit using a DA sander, and sand the shiny grips with 120 grit by hand. Just like new, trust me!

  3. My advice is buy a groove sharpener. I had Ping glide 2 sand & gap and a SM8 Lob. I went to Titleist for a SM9 wedge fitting and the increased spin was obvious, even compared to the SM8 lob which wasn’t that old. I purchased new SM9 48 & 54 and sharpened the grooves on the SM8 lob. The SM8 is now as spinny as it was when it was new. Very happy with my wedge set now. Saved £150 by not buying SM9 lobber 👍👍

  4. Turns out I need new wedges lol. The faces on my wedges are pretty dinged up. I bought a Milled Grind 1 56 and 60 brand new 2 1/2 years ago and I've played and practiced A TON and it's becoming noticable the spin and control loss with my 60, but damn I love that 60 Ive hit countless good shots with it.

  5. And I thought my game was off. Now I know why. I have been blaming the ball for months. How about the equipment. This is the best news I have come across in ages. Thanks Joel.
