Just one week away from The Open Championship, the PGA TOUR and DP World Tour go across the pond to Scotland this week for the Genesis Scottish Open at The Renaissance Club. Nearing the end of the season, the TOUR has four co-sanctioned events with the DP World Tour over the coming weeks. The field is full of the very best with Jon Rahm being the only top-10 player in the world electing to sit out before the year’s final major. World No.1 Scottie Scheffler is among those top players in the field this week. He’ll feel confident in his chances after finishing in the top 5 in his last three starts and in the top 12 in his last 18 starts. Wins at the WM Phoenix Open and THE PLAYERS Championship, coupled with top-10 finishes in the first three majors of the year, will mean he’ll look to be in the running come Sunday. Defending champion Xander Schauffele returns this week. He’s gathered momentum recently with 10 straight top-25 finishes and the all-time lowest round at a major in last month’s U.S. Open. An in-form Rory McIlroy will also be teeing it up this week having claimed five top-10 finishes in a row, including his runner-up finish at the U.S. Open. Tommy Fleetwood, Patrick Cantlay, Viktor Hovland and Rickie Fowler will also like their chances in Scotland.

  1. PGA tour can you please get some real announcers to do the broadcasts. I can barely watch highlights anymore (ALSO I don't want to see Rory highlights when he's losing all the time btw). Show me real golf with people That can do commentary please. The PGAT invested so much time in the rivalry with LIV that it's got to the point where shoving Rory down our throats is all you can do and phrasing him even when losing. I am sick of it and its sad that the people you have doing the broadcasts are so bad there probably hurting the game at this point.

  2. Borey McIlroy probably gives free golf lessons to the Murdoch family which is why Sky has its tongue so far down the back of his trousers. Ads every 15 minutes even though we already have to pay for Sky ruins the coverage. That & the half-witted commentators. What a greedy bunch of corpulent, bloated rat-suckers.

  3. Good to see Rors back to playing good, could this be the year of Rickie Fowler to hoist the British Open 🏆, i sure do hope so.

  4. lets all rewind back to when PGA Tour highlights were 3 minutes long videos and were mostly all holed birdie and eagle putts. Along comes LIV golf and suddenly we get 8-10 minute highlights and a little more variety. Funny how that works. 🙂
