These TWO moves are unbelievable!! Sir nick faldo used these two moves and they worked mircales for him and I know for a fact no matter your age or ability this will work for you with both your irons or driver. You will hit your irons longer, hit your driver longer and hit the golf ball so much longer.
You will get so much better contact with the golf ball by using these two moves. So many golfers want to know, how to hit your driver longer, how to hit your driver straighter, hit more fairways, drive the golf ball longer, drive the golf ball straighter, hit the driver on the up, lower handicap, lower your scores. Using these two moves will make your starts the downswing correctly and achieve all of this.
These two moves will get your golf club face to release, square the club face and improve your downswing. The downswing is so important, we all need a simple golf drill to take straight on the golf course. I genuinely believe this drill will make you hit the drives of your life and add distance.

These are THE two moves that I swear by to start the downswing

fase 3: spank that round thing xD
I’m going to try this for sure! Maybe I won’t hit to the right as often and get that draw.
My set up is a little weird as my right arm is not something I can feel very well, I have to see it in the back swing, I get this though, for me its drop my right shoulder, which throws my left shoulder to the sky, Nice one Alex, I am addicted to your channel now.
Great video Alex….I really like your instructions. My driver is normally straight or some draw (thanks to your video on slicing) but there are a couple of holes at my home course where a nice fade would be nice. Any help with that?
That is one brilliant lesson Alex!
Cheers Alex, thumbs up & thanks a lot! You'd recommend these thoughts for irons, too?
Would this move be used for driver, fairway and irons?
This is a great feel, but you have to eliminate the casting before you try this or you will immediately send the clubhead straight into the ground 2 feet before the ball. The only way this worked for me is to first sort out my wrist angles and trail elbow coming into the ball.
Great video😊
Awesome job! Cant wait to try this tomorrow!
Thanks Alex! Gonna try it on the range this week.
My driver is wrecking my game i either hit it perfectly straight or i get a massive slice to the right. So thanks for this video alex il give this a try tomorrow 👍
Left shoulder to the sky, great, swing thought, I tried it right away, and it works great, getting much better compression and ball height
I saw an older golfer last friday and I immediately thought of you. the first two thirds of her backswing was fine, but then she folded both arms down to try to get more backswing, and as a result she was duffing more shots than she hit. I recall two of your recent lessons were on keeping your extension.
… so how do you stop topping the ball when doing this ? …
Ouch what a great tip. It’s over 100 degrees here in California , but I still went outside to feel this tip. Club closed on Monday, can’t wait for Tues. thx Ron
Thanks for a great video. Does this apply to irons as well?
Damn Hope JE Reached a New Audience with this. This was Big. 15yrs Wwf was Still at its Height & Still Kinda watchable!!
Any videos on how far to stand from the ball with driver and your irons
Boys and girls can you say
Moe Norman vertical drop and tug?
Here's something I'm having problems with.. Having consistent loft when I use my irons. I know loft depends on lie and iron number but this is independent of lie and iron number.
i.e. I can take my 8 iron on a flat, good lie and have(sometimes) huge differences in loft of the ball flight. Is there a drill to get my loft more consistent?
Mr. Elliot, What should I do when this move causes my clubhead to bottom out way way behind the golf ball, super heavy chunk shots 😅 maybe my right shoulder went too low?
Fantastic teaching technique again, I will try this on my next range session – thank you 🏌️♀️🤛🇬🇧
Is this also a good swing thought for irons and hybrids?
Thanks for the tips. Do this apply only to the driver or to other clubs (wood, hybrid, irons) too ?
Thanks
Need to get yourself back to Woburn and I'll come across for some filming as an EDGA Player #eastanglianairambulance #togetherwesavelives #edga #disabilityawareness #shotscope #vicegolf #cobra #disabilityinsport
Every day swing it this way next week swing it another way give it up young man . I know you need to provide content but it's ridiculous to watch . It's not just you Tom saguto is still finding even more Ben hogan secrets problem is hogan never had any secrets he swung the club in a way that worked for him And then we have steve Johnson up in Scotland with his eureka swing please give us a break . And now he has moved on to hogan's swing .Oh MY GOD
Alex you keep out doing yourself by coming up with all these Great drills/tips everyday.
Thank you for all your hard work trying to make us average golfers get just little bit better each and every day you post these!!!
Cheers!!!!!
Thank you for another valuable tip.
Left shoulder to the sky,
Yes , I will give it a try.

Will this work for irons ?
Hi Alex. Am really benefiting from your advice. Thank you. I do have a question though. How is a short iron swing supposed to differ from a long iron swing (if at all)? Peter from Cornwall
My problem with that is I tend to send the ball sky high and hook.😮
This looks great for the driver.
Not so sure it will produce the downward angle of attack need for irons.
Thoughts?
The driving range is calling. Cheers Alex
For big slicer over the toppers this is vital.
Once you master this you have to find out how to bring the hand path i and get that back shoulder more level
perfect example! i like to feel my left side rib cage go to the sky wonderful vid. now im having the problem with my long irons duck hooking and some off the hosel i almost feel like my distance from the ball at approach is off like im standing too close but im not sure? great tips! always see improvement every vid i watch!
Does this work with irons as well? Mid irons 6 7 8?
nailed it! I would add start weight shift when you are about 50% of the way back and fire your hips right as you are reaching 90% of the back swing… thoughts?
Tried this today. All shots straight .. left shoulder up.. right shoulder down not working.. Thanks alex and Sir Nick
What changes to use this on a iron? If any.
Does this work with irons also? Same concept ?
Alex…this is gold. Yesterday I took this to the range and was hitting into a stiff wall of wind. The ball was holding its line. Really unbelievable. Nice presentation of both aspects of some Nick Faldo video you referred to. Mind sharing the link? There were a number of stunning revelations when putting this into action. But number one…by focusing and "shoulder to the sky", one move that automatically came into play was left foot pressing into the ground. Pushing. Weight into the left side…now a complete rotation is natural. Pure gold my Man! Thank you very, very much. The link to Faldo?
I took this from my net to the course last night and I literally increased my average drive by 50 to 60 yards!!! I know I was shocked. I have always been a solid iron and fairway wood striker hitting down on the ball but just couldn't translate to the driver. This drill helped me to remove side spin, hit ball on upswing and hit fairways long. I didn't hit draws but my slice became straight or baby fade. Thank you. Lime green Vice Pro.
This was a great help but I do catch myself leaving my weight on the back foot. Left shoulder up and slinging the arms forward tends to send me backwards. Any tips?
Hi Alex does apply to iron play
