  1. This is a GREAT tip. Was struggling at a practice facility with sand shots. Remembered I had this on my phone. Checked it, used it and BOOM. Worked like a charm.
I also adapted the Jon Rahm technique the last time I played. Placed my driver about 6 inches behind the ball on drives and had a consistent round off the tee.

  2. No mention of foot direction? I see you have your left foot practically pointing at the target. Will try this technique (again!) today, maybe it will actually work this time!

  3. The problem is even tho I open the club like that and try to hit one golf ball behind – I still blade into the ball one third of the time – that’s what disheartening

  4. Most of the bunkers at Michaels have been built with artificial lips out of Artificial Grass, which is very easy to get to the bottom of and very difficult to get out off🏌️

  5. Another great video Alex! By the way, I've been lining up the driver head at the tow of the ball and slightly behind. Excellent results.

  6. What about a steep ridged bunker where there’s no room for error, please show how to a higher ridged bunker shot!

  7. Thanks Alex, but you failed to mention depth of sand you take with the clubface i.e. 1/2 inch 3/4 inch.

  8. At 10 years of age I was taught to hit flop shots on grass. Until I perfected it with 100% confidence. My instructor took me in a bunker and had me hit a flop shot. I hit the shot and put it 12’ from pin. The next one was 4’ the 3 rd in the hole. Learn the flop on grass and take it in the bunker works.

  9. Great video Alex. Can I ask question though please. My 60 degree wedge doesn’t have much bounce where as my 54 does have lots of bounce. Should I be always using the 54 with it having more bounce? Thanks Alex

  10. Nice bunker Alex. Where's the rocks and foot prints and other holes for the ball to have landed in? 🙂

  11. Alex, I do use this, but liking the explanation. The finishing touch, I find, is to yell at players on the green that you are very likely to skull it at them and then NOT do so 🙂

  12. Too much information. Bunker shots are easy…hit with a full swing 1 inches behind the ball, swing through, done.

  13. I've had some bunker woes this season for sure. I think the squatting is what I really need. I've gotten thin on a bunch.
