Recovered from last week’s ludicrously entertaining tied match yet? No, neither have we.
We found ourselves in third place in the Bassetlaw Championship at the season’s halfway mark and were eager to extend our unbeaten run to seven games against bottom-of-the-table Mansfield Hosiery Mills.
Thanks to Woody, the team and the umpires, we managed to get a rain-reduced game on with plenty riding on it.

An excellent performance, all the bowling looked top quality and the resulting low total must have made it less stressful for the batters (and certainly compared with England's). Glad I don't have to wash those whites!

Another fascinating match, thought you were going to get them all out very cheaply to start but they almost made a come back. Is the bowler aloud to grunt like a female tennis player? I would find it really off-putting if I were batting. Loved the roving report by the way…
