Tiger Woods is paying the price for his reckless behavior and steroid abuse when he was younger, yeah he was great for 10 years but he's done before his 45th birthday. Mickelson has taken care of himself and been smart on and off the course, hopefully Phil can continue to play at an elite level.

It’s hard for athletes to walk away. In most cases their whole lives, beginning in childhood centers around their chosen sport. They probably have a hard time envisioning doing something else and want to ride the wave as long as they can. It must be even more difficult being that golf is a lifelong sport and an athlete, like Tiger, they can play forever.
