  1. I love my vice pro drips. I take 3 with me and only use them on my long par 4s with little to dangers. Lol. Too good to lose.

  2. Been using Vice for a couple of years. I love them, currently using the Vice Pro Plus and buying in bulk makes them very affordable.

Edited this to say I commented before you mentioned the channel tie up. Can’t recommend Vice enough, great customer service and brilliant balls.

  3. I used to go for the $20 box, now I’m more in $35 range, Qstar Tour, Tour Speed or Zstar on sale. I have been gifted prov1 and chrome softs and not going to complain about it but not going to burn my own money on them

  4. Currently using Srixon Ultisoft – I'm fairly slow swing speed I think (never measured it) and that seems to suit the long game while having a bit of softness for the short game. Provisional is a Pro V1 I found in the rough!

  5. Been using Vice for quite a while now (as a 22 Handicap). Was using the Tour model but actually dropped down to the Drive model and its helped me get more distance off the tee, and less dispersion (for a cheaper price).

  6. A few years ago I played the Vice Pro Soft in a matte finish, loved the ball but just couldn’t keep it clean, it looked awful after just a few holes.
I am now using the Vice Pro 👍

  7. Titleist ProV1, 110 swing speed, 5.2 hdcp. Used to play Noodles until a year ago though. Saved me a lot of money while I was getting better.

Funny enough, now every time I lose a ball I tack it on to my green fee for the day… 50 bucks to play, 2 lost balls… that's actually about a 60 dollar green fee. Conceptualizing losing balls this way makes me stop playing the good ole DOD ball from 290 out hah.

  8. Good video, Simon. I use Srixon Z-Stars that I've bought for half price the last 3 years in the end-of-season sales. At my age and swing speed (65/95), I may not need premium balls, but there's probably no reason to switch if the price is right.

  9. Congratulations Simon!very proud of your choice!love the brand, love the channel!cheers!i play off 13.8 and alternate between the tour and the pro.everyone i know does!vice is a solid product!

  10. I’m still not set on one brand other than not Srixon. During winter I said I would just play with balls I have found as rate of loss quite high.
    I’ve been finding prov1’s and using them even though I’m a 26 h cap.
I like Callaway and Taylor made. Currently have kirkland, TP5’s and Vice balls all new waiting to be used.
My game is so varied. Shot 110 for 18 in a comp the other week and today shot 43 for 9 holes, 8 over par, same course. Crazy

  11. I play of 13.8
Love a tp5 pix but found a pro v1 about 4 rounds ago and aint lost it.
    They are the daddy tbh.

  12. I use Callaway Warbirds. 90 comp, great distance, high flight, some forgiveness, not bad putting. $19 a dozen. Biggest con for me is poor spin on green approach shots. I'm 16 HC, ~102mph swing speed.
I'll have to try Vice balls some more. With what I've experienced, they have great feel around the greens.
    Srixons too.

  13. Absolutely love this partnership! I had been putting off on placing and order with Vice but more than happy to run that through your link now!

  14. Currently play Kirkland balls as a ~13 HDC, however, if I'm trying to score lower on a windy day, or playing in a scramble to win, I will play used proV1Xs. (4A/5A condition)

  15. Hi Simon and a great comparison. Unfortunately, the Vice Tour for me is only cost effective if I buy 5 dozen!. ATM, using Srixon AD 333 or Wilson Ultra, playing off 8 but can "spray" off the tee resulting in lost balls and £s.
BTW, when's the next WIYB? Or could I email you with my WITB and a video?

  16. With the rough rough these days, plenty of good balls to find but as a high handicapper there great – Even though the quality balls do go better!

  17. Use your platform to argue for standardised balls, a serious sport limits the equipment as much as possible…. and that's good for the amateur but the R&A cares about the industry more than us.

  18. I found a Vice ball when they first came out. Never heard of them before. Not many people had. Been using them ever since. Vice Tour is my favourite ball. I play off 16.

  19. I have been using TP5 and I’m shite. I don’t lose many unless I shank it or damage them. I don’t pay for them either. I always get them given haha
