What's wrong with shooting record low scores. Isn't the challenge of golf to try to beat the course as much as poss.

I think it's completely ridiculous to say a 6 handicap player sucks at golf. You are basically saying that 99% of people who play golf suck at golf. You don't base your playing ability on professional players who practise every day of their life.
Should never mix up slow play with ability. Do aim point if you like but do it quick and do it while your playing partners are having their go. My biggest frustration is people watching others putt, then only start reading their putt once their turn comes. Everybody should play ready golf.
