Kinda lame how it's a limited crowd.
USGA did it again…..always spin from GC…..38 players broke par..that is NOT a US Open..10 of the 13 par 4/5 are wedge or less into the green…what do you expect?

Last week was more like the US Open this week is more like the waste management open
Watching Damon Hack and Rich Lerner and Paul McGinley plus Brandel was refreshing. We were talking basketball 🏀 baseball ⚾️ and golf ⛳️. Actual sports. Like the 80s. Not politics and social issues. Basically no women on the set and no girly men. Just guys talking sports.
What if Golf Channel had a 6pm sports news slot and a 8am all sports slot. This make to much sense. You guys probably want to talk about girl issues and girly man issues.
I feel that it's kind a premature to dismiss this golf course, still 3 days of play. Who knows what will happen, it could be this easy in the first round to deceive the players. Let's see what will happen, I am sure it will be a memorable US Open.
The commericals are gettting out of hand again like they did last year. Starting to not care about this major, only the top 60 in the world get in the rest are all guys that played well for one week and qualified. A guy like Akshay Bhatia who has played well all year, multiple top tens on the tour, a runner up doesn't get to compete but a ton of guys you never heard of get to play. Should be top 130 get in with 20 qualifying spots.
I'm enjoying this L.A. Open so far.
