Bodybuilding to be a better Crossfitter



Every Tuesday we’ve been getting our PUMP on!!!
Bodybuilding can be a good way to not only work your muscles, but also create healthy joints and tissues, while increasing muscular endurance for performance.

What do you think in the body building building world has the most carry over to competing in CrossFit and vice versa?

Should I hit the stage or stick to functional fitness!

  1. Noah I love u and I sincerely hope you don't go into bodybuilding, there's nothing good in that world! I hope u continue at CF cuz you are a good role model and inspire many people who are already at CF and many who still want to step into this world. Plz stay at Crossfit even if u don't compete anymore but there are still other things to do there and ya know that! Good luck and God bless you. 🙏🏽❤️

  2. bodybuilding has a massive carry over not only with injury prevention and working the smaller muscle groups. we smash the compound lifts all the time but never work the small muscles that support the bigger muscles thats when bodybuilding comes into it. Girls benefit massively from this a great way to get stronger faster without smashing the body with heavy compound lifts all the time.

  3. Looking good!!🤩 I'd say try some bodybuilding if you want to! Several top body builders turned pro natural, by then, you'd know if it's something you'd want to continue doing!

  4. There’s a place and time for all things. I love all the leg movements for activation, rehab, prehab type intentions. There’s nothing wrong with any of these movements- it all about intention.

  5. I think the rows carry into lats, traps and over all help the back. If someone looked at you they would definitely think you lifted more in the body building world.

  6. That damn stair climber is brutal. I use it between sets for 5 minute interval. Only thing better is the mountain climber machine. I use to use that with a 75 lb backback in my 20s to train for long distance backpack trips.

  7. You should look up some of Dana Linn Bailey videos on YouTube. She does a really great job of explaining how to do body building workouts/movements.

  8. Call your boy cbum and have him teach you. I’ve been mixing CrossFit and bodybuilding for over 10 years. I never competed in CrossFit or bodybuilding but I do like have a esthetic physique and physical performance. You always looked great. You could easily do a men’s physique competition with very little training. You have great genetics.

  9. 10:32 Mirrors definitely help with form on some lifts, but not all. Mainly for checking depth and range of motion. Some people need to see how shallow they’re squatting.

  10. ok a crossfitgames athlete does not use PEDs… PLEASE stop talking about being against it, u guys all use, no need to talk as u like it and use it, but at least dont say u against it.

  11. Noah, you mentioned it would your last year doing individuals. Would you consider going teams after? Would be such a shame not to see you anymore! And having someone like you in teams would also raise their profile even more. You and Chandler or Travis plus two female athletes would be awesome
