I learned the upper body movements of the golf swing on my own using a Swingyde attached to a 40" Orange Whip Like Training Aid ($) and swinging it indoors. I think it's far more beneficial for amateurs like myself to focus 99% of their time mastering the proper lower body movements when first learning the golf swing. I took a few lessons from a local pro exclusively learning how to move my lower body after mastering the upper body movements of the golf swing on my own. In order to combine the two movements, I focused on my tempo ( Try Ms. Nelly Korda drill). Note: Always tee the ball up when learning the golf swing. That goes double if you are hitting off mats at the range. Question: Mr. Tony Fineau and others generate lots of speed with an early wrist hinge? ✌🏿✌🏿🇺🇸
Dude… Wilco isn’t creating an arch… he is the arch… he embodies arch…. He could shorten his arch, hit 1/4 punch shots and still bomb it past 99.9% Of all humans….
Dude is 6’ 3” with arms like Giannis. If your handicap is double digits, please don’t try this. If this idea was key to anything Jon Rahm wouldn’t be consistently top 5 in the world.

wait, hinging the wrist doesnt change the distance between my hands and body
Doesn't look like he could do the towel under the armpits drill.
You need to be careful about getting width in the golf swing. Most amateurs I see overdo it and end up becoming too tense and lose all power.
Lol distance looks pretty much the same
His arm is longer then most of us too lol
“3,000 hours in a day working on his swing” 😂
Your swing looks amazing sir.
How far do you hit
Hes like 6’ 4”
One piece takeaway.
Your arms are the same length regardless of when you hinge your wrist! If anything hinge early and rotate will make you a ton more consistent.
What wholly inaccurate commentary 😅
When I try that, my right elbow goes all wonky and I can't make good connections.
Guess I'll just keep trying
This doesn’t make sense. Armlengh is armlengh and will not change regardless if you hinge early or late.
