  1. Shan absolutely ❤ you’re videos. Thanks for making & sharing. Really wanted to see a birdie! My favorite part is seeing the blue bird pop up on the screen 😎🤣

  2. This is my favourite course in the world. I've managed to par all 3 nines. I play it twice every time I visit Pattaya.

  3. Wow, I'm retired in Pattaya (Jomtien). My group plays the two cheapest courses around, Royal Thai Navy (Phlutaluang) and Emerald. Weekday rates run us about 800-1200 thb for the green fee, cart, and caddy fee, depending on the time of the year. Plus most of the guys tip the caddy about 500 thb. They're definitely not resort style courses like you've been playing, but they're comparable to my local courses (non-resort) back in Hawaii. Great video. I haven't played many of the resort courses around Pattaya. I have played them around Hua Hin, and there are some gorgeous courses there – Springfield, Lakeview, Black Mountain etc.

  4. Some of the flys love sun screen. Really. They just love it like beer.
My favourite courses in Pattaya – Laem Chabang, Burapha A&B, Siam Plantation, Siam Waterside, I would say Siam Old Course but it's usually swarming with people who can't handle the course and it takes 5.5 hours to get round. Go there before breakfast. Chee Chan. Pheonix Gold. Green Valley. Bangpakong Riverside. I haven't played Siam Rolling Hills yet, will do that in 2025 for my 60th birthday. Khao Kheow is a course that I never beaten 81 on but will keep trying.
I have played a number of the cheaper courses and quite a few really aren't worth getting out of bed for. Poor condition, poor design, native grass fairways. That horrible broad leaf stuff.
Eastern Star is one of the cheap ones that is worth getting out of bed for.
That's it I think. Pattana, shot level round there but it's not a course I love despite that.

  5. Great video I'm looking forward to playing there in July looking forward to seeing the other courses you play it would be good to see a video on the hotel and travel company you use

  6. I played Laem Chabang many years ago and I liked it alot. They had a really good lunch buffet and even had masseuses if you wanted a traditional Thai massage. I plan on going to Pattaya this summer and I understand that Laem Chabang has night golf which I want to try. BTW, with Golf Asian, did you find the cost equal to self-booking with Golfsavers?

  7. Shan how do you do the ball tracker line on your shots? is it automated? Im wondering how it sees the ball so far away
