The Supersport ESPN channels in SA actually broadcast NRL (and AFL), but yeah, no one watches it.
Scrum half, fly half, inside centre, one winger and a fullback….and the rest of the players should just be forwards.
Nick Frost on the wing would be lethal for cross kicking and high ball jumping , McReight could play in the centres, Hooper too

disagree strongly on the opinion of the aussie (lachie) on the subject of rugby league-union in australia.
rugby league is WALKING ALL OVER rugby union in australia. its just non stop, so much more exciting to watch. look at the tv ratings. (a NRL game compared to a super rugby game). its chalk and cheese. few people want to watch rugby union in australia apart from wallabies games.
whats more, rugby league is winning the hearts of pacific islanders in fiji, tonga, samoa, new guinea and in sydneys west….. with quality international games hosted in great stadiums in sydneys west around state of origen time.
while the administators of rugby union in australia go from one bungle to another, from the axing of the western force, to banning isreal folau…. turning the public off rugby.
rugby union is a distant 3rd or 4th in winter sports in australia clearly well behind the nrl and afl.
rugby union is not thriving in australia. its in survival mode in australia.
so so much depends on the national teams success.
This championship has a boks win all over it. 2 home games where they are strongest plus the third match being at a ground even the home team doesent know well. Also let's be real the all balcks are the only threats right at this moment and they historically don't perform well in the shortened championship

SA has enough depth. Problem in camp is upcoming election in 2024. The Country is stuffed and players carry the weight.
Nicholas we do get league here in SA it's on the ESPN channels , I think Andre Esterhuizen and Damian De Allende would be pretty good in league

Keep in mind that the core of the allblacks are together for a long time now and with the new front row that Jason put together last year with the addition of the new inform front rowers looks very promising heading into the world cup. THINGS ARE LOOKING VERY GOOD TO ME
Fact is NRL is a better game spectacle to watch… Super rugby got to listen to the fans… there are more KIDS in NZ who play rugby wearing NRL Jumpers.. Good effort of trying to make super rugby more fan friendly but it was really predictable who were the teams that were going to make the finals and they got get rid of the bonus point system.
Lads can I just say this was a easy listen. Think you have EVERYTHING nailed to the the T. And think if you stick to this will be the most popular podcast/YouTube channel during the RWC. More, please!
