The world No 11 Thinaah Muralitharan and Pearly Tan survived a 211-shot marathon rally in their round-of-16 encounter against Japan’s Rena Miyaura and Ayako Sakuramoto at the BWF Malaysia Masters.

The home pair were leading Miyaura and Sakuramoto in the final set of the match when the rally began. More than three minutes later, after a jaw-dropping showcase of athleticism and perseverance, Tan produced a well-disguised drop shot, which Sakuramoto could not reach, to seal the point, bringing an incredulous crowd to their feet. The home hopes then went on to seal a 21-17, 18-21, 21-19 victory.

gilaakkk
looks like the commentators went for a toilet break
Top 10 anime fight
This was basically a round of boxing. That is tough.
This is Anime level Badminton Rally…
i think even the umpire is smiling at the end there?
The equivalent of x4 Olympic 100m sprints (back to back) all under 11 seconds!
This is what makes WD excruciating to watch
Badminton needs to market itself better. With rallies like that, who needs pickleball?
I was hoping that the ones who lost is the crowd. But they kept cheering too.
Imagine telling people who are overweight and don't want to exercise, "just play badminton. you can lose 50 calories playing a single point!"
Wow.
That was insane to watch and it brought out the best in women's sports.
This is the attention span test for gen Z!
The girl who hit the winner was really feeling it after a series of smashes – she could hardly lift her arm up.
the referee will be suffering from neck pain. left right left……….
I counted, 211 is correct
wow
awesome
This Malaysian pair is one of my favourite… WD pairs., Very fun to watch… Very animated.. as I have seen the match live so this time.
For most of the i was watching the reaction of Malaysian coach rexy Manicy who is himself is an Olympic gold medalist.
211 shots without a single error.
I'd finish one set with my daughter by this time
So what’s with Malaysian crowds always doing ‘YYYYYYAAA’ before a smash? I found it disturbing
belongs in a badminton anime
This is why women doubles the most boring. No power just rally to see who made mistake.
See how important stamina is. .
Nice warm up
i got tired just from watching… dayumm
the crowd made it more entertaining to watch
Wow Bravo to all the 4 women that was amazing to watch what a match !
Ho Lee Shet, the amount of stamina you would need for a 211 shot rally is insane.
If this scene is made into an anime it would span 26 episodes.
All four players at shot number 210: YOURS!!!!
This was mind blowing 😮😮😮
Epic!
Holy moly! That is like a month's worth of working out for me. Past the midway mark they must have been driving on reflexes alone.
Outstanding. As a teenager I played competition level badminton, and I find plays like this exhilarating. A great show for the spectators.
This was in the ending stages of the third half in Malaysia. This level of endurance is out of the world.
why is everyne asian even in the US team?
Watching that is exhausting……. :S
