The BEST DRIVER That NOBODY Is Talking About…

The BEST DRIVER That NOBODY Is Talking About… This STILL The Best Driver FOR YOU In 2023!? This STILL The Best Driver of 2023!? When buying a new driver we often look into the brand new releases such as in 2023 the Taylormade stealth 2 driver, Callaway Paradym Driver, Ping G430 Driver, Cobra Aerojet driver and so on and so on. In this video we take a look at a driver which is still a current every day driver and still available for custom fittings… could this forgotten driver still be the best driver of 2023, the longest driver of 2023 and even the most forgiving driver of 2023? Let’s find out… and let’s do it now!

  1. I compared TSR2, standard paradym and G430 max all to my now old gamer 2016 M2 and TSR2 was the clear winner in every category. Looks/sound/feel and performance. I couldn’t get above 1.42 smash on both paradym and G430max. My average smash with TSR2 was high 1.48 to 1.49 similar to the 2016 M2. with TSR2 I averaged about 5 more yards of carry and total distance over M2. The sound/feel off the G430 max and paradym (worse) couldn’t compare to TSR2.
I didn’t compare stealth 2 nor Cobra mostly for 2 reasons. Not a fan of the shallow face on all the cobra drivers and the face of the stealth drivers. I’ve seen a YT video where it flew off the head of the Stealth 2 face after hitting a shot. Not for me

  2. I got fitted into the Titleist TSR 2 driver last year and I have to say that it is awesome especially the forgiveness on off centre strikes, I do wish though that they would release new products at the same time as the other brands, however I do like their 2 yearly cycle

  3. I appreciate other manufacturers pick the new year to release clubs but from a practical point of view the autumn is a good time to make changes to your bag. With the summer season complete and lessons learnt it provides plenty of time to test new clubs in the swing room and on the course and be ready for the start of the season.

  4. I can tell you what Titleist has been doing for some of their marketing, it has been YT video ads. I'm kind of surprised one didn't pop up before or during your video. I've seen maybe 4 or 5 different ads, they seem well done.

  5. Sorry, sticking with my TSi3. Best looking, feeling, sounding, performing driver for me and the new TSR3 isn't enough of an upgrade to get me to separate from my $$$$$. Hit them out of the middle and basically no difference.

  6. James in my opinion and this comes from a 4 handicap player and all of my playing mates are 14 and above it seams the better player gravitates towards Titleist and average players go towards the Ping, Calloway, and Taylor. I feel there’s a perception that Titleist is an Elite brand and that scares your average player. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️Just my observation.

  7. Im still on the last gen drivers, i had a ZX7 but couldn’t get on with it, tested a TSi3 in November and its changed my game, i dont see me trying anything for a long time.

  8. Hey James, been having issues viewing you videos over here in US. They start out fine, but then video gets scrambled for most the video. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue. FYI – it only happens on your channel.

  9. Titleist could release any time of year and it wouldn't matter, Titleist players only play Titleist and are known as the players brand for all ages, Callaway stereo type is more ladies and seniors , Ping older higher handicap guys , Taylormade a younger slam it and find it brand not to say there isn't good players that play all of these brands but I find the Titleist guys the most stubborn about trying other brands ,I find the guys that play the other brands will try different brands with an open mind ,Titleist guys not so much at least at our golf shop.

  10. Titleist has an image of trying to act like they are only for the elite and if you are good enough then you can play Titleist. I agree they definitely are missing the marketing boat of trying to appeal to more amateurs and to be more fun and less snobby. Golf already has a snob stigma. It would be nice for all brands to come down off their arrogance a touch and just sell good products at a fair price so we can all whack a few balls around.

  11. i wonder how big a difference in drivers in the last 10- 15 years does it eventually reach its mark of best club or does it truly tailor to a person

  12. TSR3 all day long. Not everyone has forgotten or lured away by the new shiny toys released in 2023. Still in my bag and will remain until Titleist releases it’s next masterpiece. Pound for pound still the best all around driver on the planet. 🙌🙌🙌💯💯🔥🔥🔥

  13. I kind of agree with you on the release timing, but it also depends on where and who you do your fitting with. I got fitted in November last year and went in specifically to try the Titleist (I did try a Cobra and Ping at the same time). I walked away with a TSR2 with a Tour AD shaft and I literally could not be happier with it. Even if I went for the fitting this year, I would've still chosen the TSR, or perhaps the new Wilson Dynapwr.

  14. Don’t wanna sell my kidneys is why I don’t play Titleist clubs

  15. I played the TSR2 &3. While they're long toe hits are horrible nose bomb dive left snap hooks

  16. I love my TSR3 I’ve had it 4 months the only new driver I tried lately that I liked was the Callaway but I still get more ball speed from my TSR .. i got fitted for the TSR# driver and 3 wood..

  17. Sorry James your wrong there mate tsr which is what I got fitted into at the end of last year and I certainly won’t be looking at anything else.
And I don’t get drawn into the bloody rubbish that all the other makers spew out but maybe the odd one out

  18. My last fitting for a driver I ended up with a c721 tour edge .couldn't believe it out performed others at the time .not looked at another since .

  19. I got the TSI2 when the TSR came out. Absolutely spot on driver. Sounds and feels great. For a player of my standard, the older model and the new model are pretty much the same……alot cheaper.

  20. I don't know what it is about Titleist but t I never can get them in the air I don't know what it is I still try them out but never get on with them the irons on the other hand great

  21. Why doesn’t anyone talk about the TSR4!? I was spinning my TSI2 way too high. Changed to TSR4 and both my distance and accuracy increased.

  22. Just bought a TSR4 a week ago. The feel and sound are really nice and it is extremely forgiving. I is as good, if not better, than any driver I have ever owned.

  23. The 1 review you have to do is the new wilson dynapwr driver. Considering its price its really competing with the big boys and looks wise it's lovely! Seen a lot of other golf YouTubers pleasantly suprised good be the driver of the year i reckon

  24. Love my TSR3 swapped from Cobra LTDx LS it feels like a cheat code club, upto 80% fairways up from like 35% with the cobra

  25. Great video James. I got fitted for a TSR2 last year, March, because March is always the beginning of the golf season for me, and I needed a new driver.
