First of al; Well done. But one thing I reacted to from the beginning. You were huffin `n puffin from the first hole, and thats not how I got to know Carter playin golf. I think thats what made you struggle. If you had, witch is very hard, acted like you do in one of your course managing videos you would have nailed this round easy. I notice directley that you were not easy on your self and that I have never seen you behave before. But…Offcourse, I dont know you in person only throu your video.
Really enjoy these vlogs where you're competing, not just playing. It's different when you know you need a score to be successful and love the reflection in the car with the baby seat.
I think you hit really well, after 9 holes you should have gone more aggressive on the first putts. Anyway i'm just a hacker and would have bump and run on to those greens. Great footage. Thanks
This is great. I love that you've gone for it. Nothing but support from the USA. Great effort, looking forward to more!
Looked tough out there, unlucky mate….you'll get there!
Great watch Andy.looked a proper battle in that wind on a tough course . Any more efforts allowed?
Imagine u huffing and blowing ur way around the open
Well done, nice swing.
Great content. Big niagras for filming it
Welcome to Hesketh Mr Carter! It was very breezy and you have to know how the course plays in those conditions as evidenced by the eventual Winner who is also the Scratch Open Champion at Hesketh. Good effort though after-all you finished 27th in a large field!
At least he has a better chance than that Finch, who has zero chance every
It’s like watching Rick
Nothing wrong with a 76 on a tough day conditions wise. You held it together Andy. Good work.
Great playing when you factor the conditions. Golf is the hardest game because there is unlimited potential to score so high.
Forget the online nonsense Andy! There are those who talk and those who walk the walk like you! I'm convinced you will qualify one year mate you definitely have the game mate! Great video thank you Andy keep up the grind ⛳️ 🏌️♂️
Really glad there are some YouTubers still posting this content. Lots of the guys just gave up posting anything "competitive" and focus on casual rounds. Lot more to learn from somebody playing in a real comp than there is from somebody playing a random course with nothing on the line.
Enjoyed the video, couple of bad holes killed you. Keep going 👏🏻👏🏻🇪🇸
Bit of an up and down round. My congratulations on not letting a couple of those early bogey's drop you off track for the round. You were able to bounce back and make some good shots. All in all, I would say that you were really close and a bounce here or an executed shot there and you'd have been in the playoff. Great job and thank you for sharing
Andy, assuming you are 6 foot tall, your legs will be about 3 feet long, so all of those putts you describe as "from 4 to 5 feet" are more like 18 inches!!
Fine try.
Well done Andy, I know that you are a bit disappointed but remember, someone like me would kill for a golf swing like yours 😀
Perhaps a bit of homework about the course? Anyway, love the videos, love the course vlogs and will remain a loyal subscriber! 👍
Why hit the driver on 12 ? Don’t understand your course management especially when you are hopeless within 80 .
Signing up to play and posting the round are huge accomplishments!! Thanks for sharing!! Honest feedback for you: tough course and tough conditions. You did a great job of sticking to it and banging in the nerve wracking par putts. Tom Watson says to walk like a champion. Whether you are ten under or ten over walk like.a champion. No one should be able to tell how you are playing by the way you are walking around the course. I sensed a great deal of frustration and exasperation with your game….one long putt, one blistered 4 iron, one hole out from the bunker and you are right back in it. Keep on grinding.
Great video mate. 10/10 content. You get massive respect for "every shot" filming in a comp. If you can do a few more of these I'll be grateful 👍
