how does re signing Parker affect the dhop recruitment?
So Parker getting 3 Years 33Mil.. Easy Math would say thats 11mil a year…. Is that really the Case?? I have to see the details and wording of this contract… I was never banging the Table for D-Hop.. I thought Parker could basically be just as good as an X option but for Cheaper. But now with this Contract……… Just surprising. Becuz word was Hopkins would sign for 11mil..

I think you’re wrong Alex, Bourne is the best wide receiver, if he play every down instead of ruining his career because he rubbed bill the wrong way.
I’ll be so disheartened if we never utilize KB while he’s here in NE! We get these flashes where the dude can’t miss at all. The man catches everything within his radius! Not to mention the fact that Bournes YAC statistics are borderline elite, to boot!!!
I really hope we can utilize him more on sweeps, screens, across the middle…. You get the point! The man is one of the only WR in NE that is a Swiss Army knife and can be lined up all over the field!
I really hope both parties can bury the hatchet and come to terms on a second contract that keeps him around. I honestly believe that KB is important to Macs development because he and Bourne seem to have a great relationship.
Alex, do you honestly believe that the Pats would cut ties with Parker if DHop is brought on board? Are there really no packages where both can be on the field together? As you mentioned Hopkins, has versatility, which, in theory should allow for Hopkins to line up in the slot or in motion and allow Parker to line up out wide. Then Parker could block, or while the attention is on Hop, Parker could fake a block after the secondary gets used to him blocking in successive plays repetitively, then run a go route and utilize his elite contested catch dominance!!!
