  1. Well good God almighty, its the SAME thing every year with you NY teams. Your SO obsessed with payroll every year. You watch teams like the rays and astros kill it just about every year and dissect how they do with having such huge payrolls. Instead of learning from them, they do same thing EVERY YEAR, by throwing more money at FA just bitch and moan all over again crying "why??" When are you idiots gonna learn that just spending big doesn't win you jack???

  2. If every genius got what they wanted and Buck plays ottavino and Robertson only for them to blow up horrifically, those same couch masterminds would be yelling and screaming at Buck for OBVIOUSLY not running out relievers back to back as the bullpen is continually breaking down.

There is no winning for a manager when everyone sucks just like when every player is playing great, the manager can do nothing wrong.

  3. But I thought the Mets were going to take over New York and win the World Series 😂😂😂😂😂. A clown show in Queens!

  4. Scherzer is moveable, but you'd have to retain his whole salary. Verlander is a maybe with full retained salary and maybe another piece. Not sure it's super worth it for the Mets to even do that.

And no Gio, you dont just do it because your angry. Baseball is more reliant on ticket sales than most sports, they still need people to almost kind of show up.

  5. They suck…everytime they are winning…bet the in game wager for the other team😂😂😂😂😂

  6. Analytics is a bunch of crap for the most part. Money Ball was a great story, and Theo Epstein won Boston and the Cubs World Series. But the bottom line is, analytics just leads to a lot of bad decisions, especially in the short term. The Yankees and the Mets are prime examples. Analytics can't tell you chemistry over a long season, it undervalues double plays and outfield assists, overvalues home runs, left right pitching matchups and walks versus doubles, stolen bases, and pitchers who get ground outs.

  7. Lol not even close, the fake apoplectic behavior over a team that’s pretty average with terrible FA signings is just ridiculous. Who thought they’d be great??

  8. Come on, who wants an old , OVER the hill pitcher? Especially with the salary these guys get….my God, Talk about a waste of money

  9. Biggest Disappointment in NYC History? That honor belongs to Boomer and his Jets

  10. Gentleman As a Diehard Yankees & New York in general Fans we are throwing down the Towels… WE ARE Officially SELLERS THIS TIME AROUND…we must accept it.

  11. Gio secretly hates baseball…it’s been obvious for years. The Mets struggles allow him to really mask it cause there’s plenty of incentive to be negative
