  1. The pull cut (the chandelle- check out Payne Stewart)is a great go to shot, its mine, open stance hit in in the heel a bit and aim a bit left.

  2. Great driver lesson, with fantastic tips. Thanks for sharing your journey

  3. I’m sorry I just think that’s too confusing…Do you feel that do you feel that do you feel that …🧐🙄

  4. Great instruction! So many convoluted bullshit artists out there taking peoples money….he is NOT one of them.He has you on the right track to becoming an excellent ball striker and you have the natural athletic ability to go along with it. Stay with this guy,you won't regret it!

  5. Hey coach, at 5:18 he's got his shaft pointing way right and that's where the ball is going to go. The shaft should be much more parallel to the target line at this point in the downswing. However, please don't take my word for it. We all have our own ideas about the golf swing.

  6. It appeared to me that his shoulders were slightly open. For years, I’ve hit my irons clean with a slight draw, and sliced my driver every time. Why? The ball is further back in my stance with irons, naturally allowing my shoulders to close at address. I made a solid decision today at the range to MAKE SURE my shoulders were closed at address with the driver. It was uncomfortable at first, but I drew the ball every single time. Wish I would’ve focused on this 10 years ago.

  7. As a newb, having someone show me the feel in my hands and throught the swing is extremely helpful. I''ll have to work on reviewing video of my natural habits and strike patterns at home/range, then try working with a coach.

  8. This coach is much better than your first one you had a few weeks back. No wonder you went to someone else, the first guy was not a good coach at all, literally telling you to have the strongest grip possible so you dont slice it, even though you kept saying it feels super awkward and weird. You are just gonna hurt yourself swinging in a way you feel uncomfortable.

  9. ..that shaft looks very whippy, it’s probably not stiff enough. It’ll be impossible to hit a draw if it’s the wrong shaft

  10. Thanks for this I think you might have just cured my problem I was totally doing the head to shoulder not shoulder to head that forces you to swing up can't wait to try it❤😊

  11. The setup is so different from your last coach. I def think there is more than one way to skin a cat, but a lot of coaches like to teach for immediate results where a different way may be harder at first but provides better long term benefits…. That is the long way of saying I liked the previous coach a lot more… lol. Either way, keep up the good work and keeeeeep grinding!

  12. Im not a pro by any means but your initial swing reminds me of mine a couple years ago. Im surprised I didnt hear him say anyting about it. That shoulder spinout move killed my driver swing for quite a while. A drill that helped me neutralize my path and not kick the club way out was to put my feet completely together and swing with ONLY your arms, keeping the left shoulder from spinning out behind you. Gets the arms and hands more synced feeling. With that club path and leaving the clubhead stuck behind you in your swing youll be slicing forever. Feet together also helps to keep you behind the ball on driver and not leverage forward and swing down on it. Again im not a pro but just watched your vid and your swing is so similar to how mine was.

  13. Thank you tons for sharing this lesson of yours with Mr. Smeal man, what an outstanding and simple way to learn proper setup and swing mechanics with a coach like him. That was awesome to watch, and will definitely help improve my game as I too tend to tilt too much toward the ball during the backswing instead of staying in posture!

  14. Wrist was hinged upwards however i believe i heard the instructor say that would work itself out when the plane is correct. All the tour pros are either flat or bowed at impact.

  15. I'm a former CPGA professional. If you're ever in the Niagara Region (U.S. or Canada) I'd like to give you a lesson…au gratis. I don't want any credit for it…I have a fix that will work for u.

  16. This is why people need a professional golf coach vs a video cause everyone’s swing “issues” are completely different. It’s not a one size fits all answer. I need to drop some cash and train vs watching YouTube and going to range.

  17. Been watching too many YouTube golf lessons lately and got completely turned around on my driver. Watched one of your other driver videos yesterday and had one of my best days of the tee in a while. Thanks for all the helpful content. I’m going to work on shoulder to head at the range this afternoon. Makes too much sense.

  18. Pretty good stuff still. Course management definitely saved you here, I would been high 90s with a couple of those bad shots and letting it all go in my head 😅

  19. That is a great instructor – I have had 3 instructors in the last 11 years and this guy is better than all of them. And the guy I am working with now is pretty good.

  20. I can appreciate these coaches (and you) allowing us to be apart of this FREE information. Incredible. Thanks for sharing

  21. watching this video made me realize exactly what I was doing wrong with my driver! Even my coach was impressed with my improvement! This is exactly what I needed
