    what an entertainer he was. From a pure boxing standpoint, if you could somehow have kept Mike disciplined and motivated and within the D'Amato School of training and life character, – Tyson could have been the greatest light-heavyweight of all time. Even as it stands; Tyson's prime is one of the better of the smaller heavyweights. Certainly among the brightest stars.

    Prime mike that had rooney and teddy and cus was an unstoppable ko artist if he had rooney and teddy in the 2000s he would of been better but he didnt do to bad destroying cliford , and the frans botha fella , i think if mike had rooney when he vs lennox he would of landed allot more jabs and had head movement still some dr tried to put mike on pills he didnt need later in his career so i think that messed with his fight talent , people focus on his losses allot , mike is always gonna be the best peekaboo fighter to ever exist and had the best head movement in the heavyweight division of any era , his best preformance is vs reggie gross , vs james quick tillis , vs toney tucker , vs alex stewart , and of course the berbick fight , later in his career his best fight was vs orlin norris , or cliford , or vs brian nelson

    Exactly even Lennox admitted he didn't want to fight a Cus Da Moto lead Tyson. Lewis fought Tyson when Tyson didn't want or have the hunger anymore. It was basically for money. Holyfield fought Tyson way to late also.

    We need more videos with Joe Frazier complimenting Mike. I read his biography and he took fighters from Phillu up to Catskill to train with Mike/Rooney. This was even after his son was obliterated. He has said Tyson moved like something from another planet and his precision/accuracy was what put all that speed and power into such a devastating fighter. He never swung blindly. He was like a sniper with bad intentions.

    It's too bad Ali wasn't on point verbally by the time Mike came around but I'm glad that he let it be known that Tyson was his true predecessor and champion after him. I don't want to disrespect what Holmes did but he was always out in left field and in the shadows from Ali until Tyson, two phenoms. He was disrespectful too, and not in a funny/joking manner how Ali put things. Holmes remained bitter and still is. After Ali died, Tyson is now the truly last king from the 20th century walking the planet.

    Despite being in the same age bracket, Tyson was spent, completely past his prime by a long way by the time he fought Lennox.

    Trust me Mike didn’t even get to reach his prime. Anybody with just 1 athletic bone in their body knows you can’t take 3 years off of something and just pick up where you left off.
