  1. Everyone who was there should not be allowed back. They got to watch Ricky and the Rib ball out and not get rowdy? Cmon that’s like watching the sunset twice in one day

  2. I love this show. But I’m concerned this may have been the jump the shark episode. 2 62s and lowest scoring average in the opening round of the Open and you just ranked LACC above a bunch of legendary courses. That was insane. Absolutely insane. I truly don’t understand what we are doing anymore. Is this a bit?

  3. So the best player always wins the us open? Huh? Not even comparable to any masters tournament, I respect the effort to save face for the USga and LACC. But very weak.. Kvv well done on keeping the "likes" to a bare minimum…

  4. You know how when you clap but when nobody else claps you feel stupid so you stop clapping? That was me all day out there.

  5. Dj has zero sports feel.. You can tell when somebody hasn't been around winners. Xander the best us open player? Guys like DJ, who is nerdy and has very little athletic ability always have extreme opinions…

  6. Man I love the occasional "bubba booey potatoes" yell! People having fun and drinking! Does Kev know Tron yelled "Big Gravy" at a PGA event that was picked up on broadcast?
Kev also said "no politics on the pod" yet he said on a pod that he would not want to root for or be friends with the rookie winner of a recent PGA event because of his Twitter posts (retweets of conservative/ Repub talking points!)
As a conservative bro myself, this makes me laugh 🤡🤡 at how much ESPN'ers hate conservatives.

  7. Spat my coffee out when TC said “Is Morikawa a mule” 😂

  8. I’ll give the course one more chance but if they guys do the same thing tomorrow we should get an apology. Score legit might be -20

  9. The LACC membership should fly the PGA Championship crowd to their venue and put them up for free just so there's some semblance of excitement on the course. Even the crowd that attends the Genesis at Riviera has more life than this anemic bunch.

  10. "Identifying the best golfer" is the biggest meaningless bullshit line in all of tournament golf.

  11. Fellas, they held the real U.S. Open in Rochester, NY last month. It was called the PGA Championship.

  12. You guys don't take into consideration the fact there are great amateur and member courses that don't translate well to the pro game, because of how long and accurate these guys are. LACC is one of those. While Torrey may not be as visually appealing or even challenging to us mere mortals as LACC, it's arguably a better U.S. Open venue.

  13. My thing is shouldn’t the US Open be the toughest test every year? Know there could be some outliers where a tournament got some huge storm or unforeseen conditions, but US Open should be up there. What is different between this week and the other weeks, except for the better field.

And people say it’s about identifying the best player. Why can’t the course be tough and do that. When does the player that played the best not win? Even in shinnecock in ‘04 Goosen played the best. It’s ridiculous to me. The atmosphere and course set up were awful for the US Open. To me it seems the same as last week at RBC Canadian

  14. I hated doing corporate gigs as a musician. You got paid boatloads, but the atmosphere was always dogshit.

  15. we need a post show after hours of tc running down the leaderboard for 2+ hours. why are we hand cuffing him to restrictions.

  16. The reason we want worse scores is because it brings the psychological element into play. These guys aren't used to hitting good shots and walking away with a bogey. It plays with their minds, we've seen this many times. A proper Open set up should require at least one great shot for a par to be guaranteed. The fairways were too wide, greens too soft, pins too accessible, and it showed. Two 62's and a bunch of others not far behind. Not a single player shot in the 80's, which is ridiculous given the sheer number of amateurs and minor-league pros who qualified.

I agree that we can't write off LACC yet. Conditions get tougher and pins tighter, and if by the weekend the average score is north of 73.5 to 74, then we could get a winner at single-digits under par.

  17. Regular weekly events are like regular season of MLB, NHL, NBA. No one cares. Majors are like the playoffs. Probably 80% of revenue, interest, etc

  18. Seriously. Can anyone explain to me why TC reads me the leaderboard? It’s an insult that he thinks I can’t read it

  19. All you need to know about LACC is that Eric Anders Lang broke 90 there for his breaking 90 series at major championship venues. It's the 3rd time he's done it. The other 2 were Harding Park and St Andrew's.

  20. LACC looks cool, but it hasn't been translating into a good US Open Venue thus far. The lack of juice hurts, and I think the wide fairways makes it notably easier for these top guys.

Honestly I disagree about Torrey to LACC as of now. By Sunday we'll know for sure, but Torrey seems better at producing a tougher test than LACC. Especially if we compare to southern California courses. That said, Brookline was amazing in my view.

  21. Pretty sure if LACC gets handled by the field Fri-Sat-Sun, this will be the last US OPEN held there. Awesome looking course, but maybe not a US OPEN venue. We'll see. I'm hopeful.

Disappointed to hear there's no life to the limited spectators. In my mind, The US OPEN should be a public event, not a corporate / private event. Have some family there for the weekend. Will be interesting to hear their feedback when they return.

They need to take over the members only stands on Hole 15 and bring in some talent from Phoenix / Waste Management, give away some members cars for any hole-in-1's.

  22. Wearing golf shoes at a golf event is perfectly acceptable, provided they are spikeless. At that point, they are just shoes you are comfortable walking long distances in

  23. How does these guys only have 137k subscribers when Micah Morris and Grant Horvat have more than twice for their bubblegum and ego channels?? 😮
