What a load of crap. Every one of these players is a multi-million dollar business. When offered to go to LIV, they made a business decision. How naive to project human emotions onto these businesses. Poor Rory knew damn well that if he jumps to LIV he loses his $25 million/year contract with evil bloody Nike. Every one of these businesses knew the same, and they made a business decision.
When Greg Norman wrote back to the Commissioner and said 'You must be jesting' for not allowing any discussions with LIV at the outset of this, it looks like he was right. Just a pity that the PGA Commissioner and Board dismissed LIV at the outset and wouldn't engage in any negotiation, even calling LIV an existential threat to the PGA Tour and now they are merging. More a sick joke than a jest!
This has probably cost both parties many hundreds of thousands in legal fees already and a lot of unnecessary bad feeling between players. The Board of the PGA has a lot of questions to answer.

So, it sounds like LIV and the PGA Tour will continue to exist mutually exclusive of each other. There has been no talk that LIV Players will return to the PGA Tour or that guys can drift back and forth between the two. Zero talk about where Greg Norman lands in this deal.
Isn’t the story that the PGA tour, DP World tour, and PIF Saudi are creating a new company to control men’s professional golf world wide? I saw no mention of LIV?

You literally have to give every PGA loyalist at least 20 million just to keep them some what compensated .
I know one group that has integrity and that is the Golf Channel. I personally got Rush Limbaugh throw off the golf channel. I'm sure you all remember when Rush was on with Hank Haney.. Rush had mocked Connie Chung with a broken English accent mocking Chinese people. I wrote 17 letters to the Golf Channel including all the on air personalities(Brandel and Rich were included) that someone of his character and racism should not be promoted.
I figured it fell on deaf ears. A couple of months later I saw my caller ID light up with the "golf Channel". The person then said to me that they got my letters and decided that Rush would never be on the Golf Channel again.
When the reruns came on Rush was not included.
I am done watching golf. PGA officials should have to move to Saudi Arabia and live under their laws and customs. The PGA has the soul Jared Kushner and family.
Jay Monahan must be fired! Rory Mcllory sided with the Saudi's too! He said that the Saudi's are, "one of the biggest sovereign wealth funds in the world." This is disgusting! Rory also said that "10 years down the line" the world will have forgotten about this. Tell that to the children whose parents died on 9/11! A year ago, I wrote a letter to the PGA a year ago in support of them banning golfers who've betrayed our country to play for LIV golf. Now, the PGA supports genocide, LGBTQ hatred, and they've turned their backs on 9/11 survivors. What does that say about our federal government that sits by and twiddles their thumbs and does nothing. Our government will allow this merger as long as they can make money too. It means what it's always meant. That money and power are more important than human life. This is a dark day in American history. It will get worse.
