  2. As a 4 year starter in college. I would have loved to play 10 less snaps per game. That also saves some injuries from occurring too

  3. Also Jake, lets not forget that the defense going against Rodgers in pratice can only sharpen their skills. Rodgers can point out to them what he sees in certain coverages & scheme as a whole or each indiviually, Especially the DB's. Jake, I'm looking forward to seeing our beloved Jets duplicate or better last seasons 4th overall defensive ranking, just because the defense goes against Rodgers in practice everyday. Gr8 segment Jake. Go Jets baby.

  4. The more sacks that the Jets defense registers the more turnovers that will be forced!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Saleh is a good coach. Dont know why so many are down on him. Dont know why so many are waiting for the plane to crash. No matter what jinx you think the Jets are under, A-Rod's got a crystal for it. A little spiritual guidance, and some rubbin of the crystals, smells like superbowl bound.

  6. 10 fewer snaps per game times 17 games = 170 fewer snaps. Divide that by a 50 snap average equates to 3 games worth less wear and tear on the defense. That'll reduce injury expose and keep that "D" fresh so they can get after it- Let's Go Jets!!

  7. There will ALWAYS be doubts. It's the Jets.

Look at the Mets loading up for 2023. Met fans were all fired up. Now look at that situation. This is what keeps me from letting my imagination from running wild. about the Jets. I think we'll all enjoy the season….but you never know…..just look at the 2023 "Built to win NOW" NY Mets.

  8. Field position is so important, it gets overlooked by casual fans. Don’t be surprised if it’s a blowout week 1 vs Buffalo!

  9. I remember when Mark Sanchez ate a hot dog on the sideline during the Raiders game awhile back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. The defense is more rest and in theory, the team will have more leads but that also tends to mean u give up a few more bigger plays or more yards bc teams are trying to come from behind. There is a chance even with less snaps the Jets give up more yards per game…could even be more snaps where they are playing prevent or backups as well.

  11. And if your GM can steadily hit on mid round draft picks and land stars with the first round draft picks, you can just keep reloading with veteran quarterbacks that want to be on a new team. If Rogers plays two years, and they can get him to take a little bit of a pay cut n 2025 the New York Jets will be able to add a new veteran quarterback. As much as quarterbacks change teams now they’re always looking for two things for the new team to have good offensive weapons and a defense. Good enough to win a Super Bowl. That’s why I’ve been saying it would be a dream. Come true if Max Mitchell could be the starting right tackle by midway through the season and show major improvement. And then next year Carter Warren be able to step in and play left tackle. If you’re starting offensive tackles are both on mid round rookie contracts, that’s going to help a lot with the salary cap. You’ve got teams paying offensive tackles 13-20 Million or more each. That would help him Williams contract along with sauce, Gardner & GW when they get new contracts

  12. It’s simple about the defense, how many times does the Jets defense give up a couple of first downs, and then force a punt . They walk to the sideline, get their helmet off, sit down to get a drink of Gatorade listen to one or two things from their position coach at the off goes 3 & out and we put the ball from inside our own 20 and use less than a minute of game clock on offense. Defense goes back on the field at our own 45 yard line defense gives out one first down 15 total yards and the other team is kicking a field goal. That’s three points that goes against the defense for getting back to back stops. That’s an all too familiar sight lately for the Jets.

  13. In response to the BBQ question I feel like it’s gotta be rodgers namath mangold Bart and sanchez

  14. Less snaps might also mean the better players get a higher percentage of snaps, which means better players could have more impact

  15. As bad as Gholston was, in 2009 against the Titans, he did run down Chris Johnson and make a touchdown saving (and perhaps game saving) tackle.

  16. Sorry…you can't just pick 5….the ENTIRE CURRENT TEAM….AND THEN…. THE ENTIRE '98 TEAM,'09-'10 AND '15!!!!!!
