Callaway Golf spec commercial – Caden West

This was the description from the original posting of this spec spot. Caden had turned 4 about 2 months before we shot this.

“This is a spec commercial I directed starring my 4 year old son, Caden. Caden first hit golf balls at 14 months old, although the balls and clubs were plastic he managed to hit 1000’s and 1000’s of balls. He averaged around 200 balls a day. On his 3rd birthday he got his first set of real clubs. A year later he has almost a full set which includes a driver, 3 wood, and irons consisting of a 3, 5, 7, 9, pitching wedge and a putter.
Caden has a huge passion for the game while at the same time being a typical 4 year old. Great shots are followed by phrases like, “That shot was money!” or “Look daddy, a firetruck!”
Caden hits Callaway Hex Diablo golf balls that have his name on them. He refers to them as his Callaway “Caden West” balls.
He was featured on The Golf Fix with Michael Breed on the The Golf Channel on Monday September 1st, 2014

This spec spot was shot by Keith J. Duggan using the Nikon D800, edited by John Gilbert and myself using Final Cut Pro. The final color correction was done by Joe Hackett on the Avid Symphony at 16:9 Post. Original music by Ralph Carter.
