  1. It's the truth tho the clipps would never have won. Those years 15, 16, 17, 18, were dominated between the Warriors and the Cavs. The truth just hurts..

  2. Doc is the kind of coach that he also needs a lot of veteran leadership on his roster to help manage the players. I've never seen Doc be successful coaching up young players, nor have I seen him be a coach that can motivate his team out of a slump.

  3. with respect to Doc and Jamal. But specifically to J.J. You were never going to win because your “second” best player wasn’t good enough to win a championship. Blake Griffin wasn’t that good even in his prime. He isn’t Shawn Kemp or Chris Webber or Derek Coleman or Rasheed Wallace or Amare or Dirk or Timmy etc…he wasn’t even as good as Chris Bosh or Zebo. You can’t force someone to be a superstar just because you want them to be. Blake got paid too much, didn’t get along with Chris and was pre-occupied with his egomania. But mainly his game just wasn’t that good, it never was. You have Chis Paul, let Blake go and sign a better player with the money. Why is everyone afraid to say Blake was the problem? And i don’t mean socially, i mean talent wise. Lob City doesn’t matter in the playoffs because defense.

  4. and wasn't doc in charge of building the team as the president? so wasn't he DIRECTLY responsible to obtain enough talent to win?

  5. Doc is always given the keys to a successful team and demoralizes them. And anytime something goes wrong, he throws his dudes under the bus. That his Celtics team has one ring is disgusting. That team should have 2 or 3

  6. I’ll never forget being up 3-1 on Houston just won’t forgive doc for blowing that series

  7. Doc is one of the most overrated coaches of all time. He doesn't sound like a good person.

  8. Doc Rivers strange rule with the Magic, no kids allowed to travel with team. Fast forward, he had his son playing in his team.

  9. Is it me or I feel that Doc is way overrated only because of the Celtics ring? Like millions years ago?

  10. Doc is the most overrated coach ever. Wins 1 ring with a completely stacked team and has underachieved every year since. I was not happy when Philly hired him (as a Philly fan)

  11. Doc loves throwing his old teams under the bus to try to make up for his shitty coaching. Only won with Boston because of the talent on the roster, horrible coach.

  12. I just want to say that Philadelphia won game 1 by a darn fluke and boston will hopefully stop with the careless mistakes in game 2

  13. Doc Rivers is an overrated coach and probably he will be fired if the Sixers get eliminated by the Celtics. He always blames his players.

  14. Eight years from now Doc gonna be talking about how those Harden – Embiid Sixer teams were "never gonna win"

  15. I'm here a couple days after Doc got fired from Philly and a day after Rasheed Wallace (played for Doc as a Celtic) just got done saying he felt Doc was a coach who never made adjustments and deserved to get fired. This JJ and Jamal conversation adds further context to the Glenn Shivers AKA Glenn Quivers "legacy".

  16. MOST OVERRATED NBA coach by FAR
He was so damn lucky to coach celtics big 3 era to win a ring
Since then, what has he done? Nothing
Failed talented lob city clippers, failed Embiid, Harden sixers
