Wow what a come back for Rickie. Probably my favorite player with so much of his emotion and mentality under control. Somebody who was winning, struggling and pushing through to win again.

Watched him play a few holes walking around quail hollow this year. He was swinging it so good. Watched him make the only birdie of about 10-15 groups we watched go up that monster 18th hole on Saturday. My friend and I both said he was going to finally win something this year.
That second shot from the rough was a dime!. 👌🏽

Changing putters helped, too. A heavier putter changes rhythm a lot.
I think his first major title is around the corner. He would win the US Open if not for the bad conditions on sunday. As great as it was to get godzilla off his back, getting his first win in 1,610 days, he has yet to win his first major which is long overdue.

This video does a great job at highlighting how difficult it is to win after a major mechanical swing change. Rickie completely changed the mechanics of his swing and didn't win again until three years later. This in part is what makes Tiger my overall GOAT, at the highest level of the sport he kept winning and winning tournaments through FOUR different swings…
Nobody I'd like to see win a major more than Ricky, a great ambassador for the game.
