We’ll discuss these teams’ existing core of star plays, top prospects, salary cap management, and more. I’ll also spotlight several comments from our community regarding the Buffalo Sabres, New Jersey Devils, and Detroit Red Wings among other teams. 1. Well the Coyotes made a trade using their draft capital to land 24 year old Defenseman Sean Durzi from the Kings. They traded 2024 2nd round pick.

  2. NJ…Buffalo….are imo the obvious picks.I am a Habs fan but just can't predict a bright future YET because of their track record.
There is too much hit n miss but another obvious choice would be Chicago considering they have the newest franchise player and will certainly fill out the roster to become a contender.
Impossible to predict multiple cups because of the salary cap cheating that has been happening the last 5 years but with no cheating the Devils are a solid pick they just need to think seriously about getting another Dougie Hamilton.Goalies imo are hardly any factor at all Vegas just proved that ANY goalie can come along and win it if the team in front is solid.
I do not rate Detroit very high they need at least two high end forwards before they can be considered a legit cup contender.

  3. Don't sleep on Ducks after the 2 pick and their young DMen come on to the team…

  4. If the Wings kill it in this years draft (5 picks in top 43) it could complete the first phase of Yzermans rebuild journey, the 5yr mark. Should be interesting, cant wait to see it unfold.

  5. I’m really excited to see how the Ducks are gonna do in 3-4 years from now with the talent they have. Fantilli with Zegras, McTavish and Terry will be amazing to watch.

  6. NJ and Buffalo will be battling it out for the next 5-7 years but there is one correct answer to this question 😈

  7. Jersey, Buffalo, maybe Detroit and Ottawa, if we are looking deeper than 3-4 years down the road, Anaheim and San Jose should be really good but that depends on how their next few drafts go

  8. Buffalo with Owen power and Dahlin on the backend will be a force to be reckoned with

  9. I like Buffalo and Anaheim. The Sabres are just so stacked with so many good players that they are a team I think just about everyone agrees look to have an extremely bright future. With the Ducks I like their individual players, they are guys that performed big in the world juniors with a few that had two very good world juniors in a row.

  10. Jersey is kinda in their “future”. But my god Buffalo has a crazy pipeline of prospects. Then that 6”6 power is only going to be better . If Levi plays even league average and they add a D men in the off-season. Look out

  11. Columbus has an outstanding prospect pool. They just need a solid goaltender and a dominating center.

  12. As a Vegas fan, i pray the cap jumps like $5M this off season so we can keep our championship team together so we don't have to keep doing the LTIR bs.

  13. A decade of misery in buffalo is finally showing positive results from strong drafting. If Levi lives up to expectations I say watch out for buffalo for many years

  14. Buff and sens have teams right on the edge of the playoffs. Red wings are slightly behind the.. the difference is Yzerman. I believe with all my heart, wings will end up past both the other 2 in a quick manner

  15. While they are getting it together, the Sen’s have studs locked up everywhere. Chucky, Stutzle, Norris, Batherson, Chabot, Chychrun, Sanderson, not to mention Giroux, etc. Gotta nail that goaltender though this offseason. If we can turn DeBrincat into that, and solidify the bottom 6, the sky’s the limit.

  16. I’m excited for the wilds future they are in cap hell now but have a lot of promising prospects and in two years the buyouts will be done. Even during the buyout handicap we’ve still been a somewhat competitive team

  17. Love the videos… VERY INSIGHTFUL AND INFORMING…….. keep up the GOOD WORK!!…. Do you think the golden knights will REPEAT?

  18. Blawks have the most draft capital of any team and Bedard. Along with a huge draft last year and a ton of cap space to acquire more future assets. It will take a few years but they’re comin.

  19. The difference is the Devils are the 4th youngest team and are already a playoff team and have won a round, why for Buffalo, Ottawa, and Detroit it's all speculation.

  20. My vote goes to the Sabres as having the brightest future of all these. The big question is will they win a Cup before Toronto 🤣

  21. Arizona is going to be a Monster(size wise)team in the near future.
