The PGA TOUR heads to Detroit, Michigan, this week for the fifth installment of the Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club. Last year’s champion Tony Finau returns to defend his record-setting title. Finau finished with a score of 26-under-par to break the tournament scoring record by three shots, posting just one bogey on the week. He’ll be accompanied by an in-form Rickie Fowler in the field. He’s finished inside the top-13 in his last four events, including a T5 finish at the U.S. Open, setting the U.S. Open single-round scoring record in round one. Justin Thomas will also be teeing it up this week in Detroit. He snapped back into form at the Travelers Championship after achieving his first top-10 since mid-March at the Valspar Championship. Only winner Keegan Bradley made more birdies at the Travelers, as he closed with a 64-62-67 in his final three rounds. Tom Kim will also like his chances this week after he finished T8 at the U.S. Open in Los Angeles. Turning 21 years old last week in Connecticut, he posted rounds of 64 and 65 to finish T38. The Korean debuted here last summer and matched the course record (63) on Sunday to finish solo seventh. Max Homa, Hideki Matsuyama, Collin Morikawa and Keegan Bradley will also be shooting for top spot in Detroit.

  1. Rickie is the only guy who can carry similar energy Tiger Woods did with the crowds. Really hope he wins tomorrow.

  2. The tw*ts shouting sh*t like mash potato need to be kicked the f*ck out of these events

  3. I love when people support their favourite player
but what is this Screaming like a 10 year old girl by grown men all about?

  4. It is great to see Rickie playing well again. I remember when he won here at the TPC Sawgrass. Everyone watching & on the course was pulling for him late that Sunday evening. It is a shame that 𝗝𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 & 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗴𝗼𝗹𝗳 to the blood money Muslim tour. 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙩 all the players that stayed loyal to the PGA & European tour. Monahan will go down in history as the biggest lowlife on the planet in the golf world. Shalom

  5. Some think Rickies going to falter and come up short. He might, but consider how far he's come in the past year. His game was on the rocks but now he's playing like when he won at The Players. People love Ricky as much if not more than Tiger. On and off the course Rickie's always been a class act! It's a shame this good play hasn't come earlier, but he will win again. If not tomorrow then probably at The Open. Butch harmon's got him back on track and his putting has been electric!

  6. Man! I'm so glad that Rickie is finding his stroke. He has that fire back and I hope he goes on to win this tournament.

  7. Ricky will CHOKE AWAY this lead like an old man on a THICK PIECE of BBQ steak on 4th of July!!!

  8. The guy has no chance tomorrow, and he knows it better than anyone else. But, maybe enough no chances, the no chances pile up, and even a blind squirrel can find a tree.

  9. Hope Rickie can finish it off. Been playing so well the last few weeks
