Watch out for the channel cats. Never saw a blue cat in Ohio. Just flathead and channel. The carps I used to catch were mostly 3 to 5 pound.

Hoover has some monster flatheads! But the Blues were stocked about 17yrs ago so close to none over 50lbs. Some of the flats push slightly over70lbs though. Good luck in my home state! You need to fish the Bay too! Ever see a 25 to 30lb channel cat… that's the place to do it….

How did Hoover Reservoir treat you? Fishing the Muskingim River which is east of Columbus tonight just one dink channel catfish very slow night so far
watching after the fact, just a thought of logic, why? do you not yet have a 12 volt receptacle wired into your kayak? if you had one then you could have a 12v plug wired onto your aeration pump and never have to worry about it not functioning, except if the fact of low battery …. if you have a low battery you have bigger problems than an aeration pump.

Hey Justin you're fishing in my area. I live on Sunbury road right here in Westerville. I wish I'd known if you was live stream that day I didn't catch it. I'd like to come down here and meet you. I'm only about 5 blocks from where you put in. What water at maybe some other time buddy
