Inside Srixon’s New Performance Centre | Exclusive

Clydeway Golf Performance Centre, near Glasgow, is now home to the first Srixon centre of excellence in Scotland.

Located in Uddingston, the centre will give golfers the opportunity to be custom-fit into Srixon, Cleveland and XXIO clubs.

It’s the third Srixon centre of excellence in the UK and was built, from scratch by Stuart Williamson, the owner of Clydeway Golf Centre and his brother, over the winter and spring.

Now, the centre, which is located beside the TrackMan-equipped driving range, is ready for use. As golfers hit balls, they’ll be surrounded by pictures of Srixon athletes in the spacious hitting bay, including Brooks Koepka, Hideki Matsuyama and Shane Lowry, all major winners.

Players will be able to try out combinations of thousands of different shafts and heads, from Srixon, Cleveland and XXIO, who all come under the same umbrella.

As well as that, players can be fit into the golf ball of their choice, from the range of dozens of Srixon golf balls.

Players can also be fit for putters in the pre-existing putting studio on-site at the driving range.

  1. Good to see such a great facility on my doorstep. I just need to find a plausible excuse for why I need something new!
