  1. Can I ask what grit deburring wheel you use? I want to try it in my own back garden in Ireland. I have refurbed and torched many a raw head wedge, but I think I need a little more refinement when trying a Scotty.

  2. Two questions man. What kind of oil do you use and what kind of mill was that? Thanks. Putter came out awesome!

  3. Great job on this putter!!

I'd like to see you restore one of the older tei3 Scotty's, like the Newport with the terrilyum inserts like you have on one of your short videos… I've got an old Santa Fe that needs refinishing. And I REALLY don't want to screw it up…

  4. This finish looks great! Do you need to bead blast the putter to remove the rust or is there any other way to get rid of rust?

  5. imagine how would it come if you soak it in royal purple oil ???? which btw is the best of the best

  6. You ruined that club, it didn't have a milled finish back then! I have a Newport and my buddy has that very Laguna model. Scotty didn't mill his faces then.

  7. The Laguna is my fave model and this was an excellent tutorial. Looking to finding an "older" one in need of a makeover and do a bit of a proj where I can use it afterwards. Thanks.

  8. Out of interest, because I have this exact putter. How much does this putter cost before and after a restoration like this just about?

  9. Hello from Korea. It was great video that I need to know. And I have a question about oil. When You done torch what kind of oil shoud I dip. Please let me know. Thanks.

  10. Great work, what would happen if you clear coat the putter, would it lose it's purple and blue hues? Thank you

  11. Get in touch with Rick Shiels Golf and have him play some of your restored clubs! Would love to see them played again as they should.
