Thanks for watching guys!
Let me know the oldest wedge in your bag 🙌
They have older models but they are new one's
Still rocking the Callaway Forged+ wedges you recommended back in the day! Non-conforming but then again my tour card isn't showing up anytime soon 😉
I have and still play a Vokey 256.14-56* wedge in my bag. Sometimes I think I should upgrade, but the groves are still there, and I spin the heck out of that club. I still don't know how you would wear the groves out of one of these. That club is my "par saver" I can get up and down from most lies and I love to open the blade and hit the flop with it too. I don't know why I carry a Vokey 260.6-60* I hardly ever use it.
Mizuno forged wedges are underrated
Had 3 vokeys , changed 2 to cbx2 only vokey left is sm7
Just prefer the Cleveland
I still have Scratch wedges in my bag and the grooves are still amazing and the milling on the faces really adds the spin, I’ve had them for 4 years now
Thought McIlory was playing Vokeys tbh.
Have a set of Nike engage wedges 52 56 60… Love them still in great nick, lots of life left in them yet…
I had 3 vokey sm6’s in my bag I only have one left a 54 but I loves those a wedges now I have a mizuno 50 because I play mizuno irons and I love my taylormade hi toe 58
Still rocking my tour action rtg Cleveland
Ole Mack Daddy had a wedge eyi, eyi, oh!!! And on that wedge he had some grooves etc., etc., etc!!!!
Im playing SM9's in my wedge set. 50*, 54*, 60*. I had been playing SM1 or SM2's. They are still in great shape since I took about 15 years off. Found out they became illegal after last year, so I bought freshies.
I’ve had MG3s for about a year. Best wedges I’ve used
Simon, I still use an old Vokey oil can series wedge (10+ years old?). My question to you – what is the major tech change from older Vokeys to the SM7 and newer??? Thx!
Love the Mizuno T7 wedges. I bought a couple of each in great condition to have on hand, so when the time comes to change out clubs, I have one ready to go in stead of searching.
Still using sm6’s which I flip about with 46f, 52f, 56m then between 60l / 60k. Stuck at sw/lw as reading that sw should have high bounce and lw should have low? Any thoughts? Saw 56f grind with 14 degree loft but enjoy opening the m grind…great video as always. Thanks
Have played MG 2's for a few years now. Have used a groove sharpener to them a couple of times.
Still gaming my Cleveland RTG 588 54 and 60 degree Wedges from 2004 or so.
I play an SM4. It's still a beautiful club and so nice to hit!!!
I have a set of Volky SM6's and love them. Grooves are still in good shape. I keep them clean and use a groove sharpener to clean out the debris every fall. No reason to upgrade at all.
Hogan BeCu 55*…maybe the 80’s. Heck with that rusty look. Get yourselves a copper head. Feel is second to none
Callaway Jaws X Series Forged Raw 54/12; 60/10.
I use 4 wedges my pitching wedge is PXG 0211 XCOR2, my gap and lob wedge are Ping glide 3.0 with steel fiber shafts and my sand wedge is also a ping glide 4.0 with steel fiber shaft
I love my CBX Zipcore wedges. I've got a 48, 54, and 60 in the bag and know my distances very well with them for multiple swing speeds. I'm a mid-handicapper, so I probably wouldn't see much benefit from Vokeys
I still have the ping tour w 50 & 56 wedges , had new sm8 s for a month but didnt get on with them & returned to the 12 year old pings .
I'm still using my 60 degree Mackdaddy 2 wedge. It's a bit rusty now but does the job…
Nike Engage wedges. I'm dreading the day when they're no longer playable.
I started playing in the early 70s. We all wanted old, rusty wedges because they would spin. Look at the wedges Trevino used to win his opens. Old, rusty and often punch faces. They were later banned but he had his trophies.
64° Jaws Raw. Its a beast around the greens. Had a chip in not birdie other day and couple others barely missed the hole
I have the best set of used wedges anyone could want …Nike VR , 52, 56 ….. not used since Nike went tits up
Artisan 51*, 55* and 59* with DG shafts, got the set for 220 pounds and really like them.
Still have original Nike Forged Chrome wedges in the bag. There’s just something about the head shape that looks right.
I recently swapped my Taylormade Tour Preferred 52 and 56 for MG3 50 & 54. I will not change my TP 60. I’d buy another before getting a new model. It just feels damn good
Brought 2019 Mizuno s18 black 50 and 56, both brought for 65-70each , cut 1/2 inch shorter. Trusty MPR12.. 60.. £25 longtime ago. Sm7's and a vokey waiting in the wings
