Time now to take a look at what’s been happening in the world of sports.
Joining us in the studio is our sports editor Paul Neat.
Good evening, Paul.

Hello.

Let’s begin with football. Son Heung-min scored for Tottenham on Sunday and it was something of a landmark goal for him.
What can you tell us?

Yes, Son scored his 10th goal of the season on Sunday.
This puts him on double figures for the seventh season in a row.
It came in the 77th minute of a 4-3 defeat away to Liverpool, with Son making it 3-2.
It was a game in which Spurs fans might have felt a touch of Déjà vu, though, as they were 3-0 down with just 15 minutes on the clock similar to the 6-1 loss to Newcastle last weekend.
Harry Kane was also on the scoresheet, taking him to 208 Premier League goals and equal with Wayne Rooney’s record as the second-top scorer in the league’s history.
Alan Shearer is top with 260.
But Spurs now sit sixth in the table, two points behind Liverpool, and have played one game more. putting their hopes of European football for next season in doubt.
Elsewhere in the Premier League, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland scored a record-equalling 34th league goal of the season, a record that was previously held by Alan Shearer and Andrew Cole for the most goals in a single campaign.
There are still six games to go for City.

Sticking with football for the time being, Napoli and Kim Min-jae have been made to wait for the Italian league title.
What happened?

Yes, that’s right. Napoli on Sunday drew 1-1 at home to Salernitana.
A win would have sealed a first Scudetto since 1990.
It all seemed to be going to plan, too, when Mathias Olivera gave Napoli the lead on 62 minutes.
But Boulaye Dia leveled six minutes from time to leave the champagne on ice for the time being.
Napoli could seal the title on Thursday local time, away to Udinese.
South Korean defender Kim Min-jae has played 31 times in the league for Napoli this season, scoring two and assisting two.

To golf now. The inaugural Korea Championship got underway over the weekend.
How did it go?

Well, it was won by Spain’s Pablo Larrazabal for what was his eighth European Tour title.
At Jack Nicklaus Golf Club in Incheon on Sunday, Larrazabal finished at 12-under par, 276 following one bogey and six birdies in the final round.
This was enough to finish two strokes ahead of Denmark’s Marcus Helligkilde.
Park Sang-hyun was the top-ranking South Korean, ending the weekend tied for third at nine-under-par.
The Korea Championship was founded this year and is co-sanctioned by the European Tour and the Korean Tour.
156 golfers teed off on Thursday, with 60 from Korea from both the DP World Tour and KPGA.
The Korea Championship was the DP World Tour’s first tournament in Korea since the Ballantine Championship in 2013.
Larrazabal competed in that tournament too, finishing sixth.

And in the KLPGA, there was the first major of the season.

Yes, the 45th CreaS F&C KLPGA Championship.

It was won on Sunday by Lee Da-yeon at Lakewood Country Club in Yangju, Gyeonggi-do Province.
Lee Da-yeon finished at 13-under-par, 275, following a final day of seven birdies and four bogies.
This meant a third major title of her career and seventh overall.
Defending champion Kim A-lim, who is also part of the LPGA tour, tied for 22nd following a score of two-under-par, 286.
Lee’s win comes following an injury-plagued 2022 campaign which was cut short due to a ligament problem.
But, the win ended the recent streak of first-time winners with the three previous KLPGA tournaments being won by golfers winning their first-ever tournaments.

Alright, thank you for that wrap-up, Paul.
We shall see you next week.

Thank you.
