I understand what he’s getting at but it’s a very old school way of chipping and brings the leading edge of the club into play. I don’t suggest any weekend golfer try this.

Good tip. Lead eye down definitely helps prevent chunking the ball. To the others ridiculing the tip … each golf teacher has different ways of teaching. If you were so skilled, you wouldn't be watching these videos.
