Whats happened to the course vlogs with Lockey and you. Not seen any in a good while.
Despite all the claims about making golf accessible and affordable for all many of the manufacturers are issuing products entirely at conflict with that sentiment. The Paradym driver, Stealth driver, new Ping 3 wood evidence that.
The only thing in favour of brands like Ping is their product evolution is less frequent.
It would have been refreshing to hear Jay Monaghan et al state that the merger with LIV would bring investment to the roots of the game in schools etc…..alas, a pipe dream I fear!
Looks identical to the Gen6 PXG fairway woods. And they are amazing also for a lot less cost
It looks good, I wouldn't say it's for your average golfer. Most tour players want a 3 wood that acts as a mini driver for those longish tight holes that they play on tour. Most will now carry that 5 wood or 4 wood or long driving iron or even a 7 wood, to use off the deck like we average hitters would use a 3 wood for. Looks outstanding though.
Have they released a let 5 wood version? I feel that would suit a lot more golfers especially me!

Far too many options on the market today at much more friendly prices. How long that lasts will depend on how successful Ping is in the market with this club.

The ENTIRE golf industry is trying to price the game out of existence! Like the early 2000s that bankrupted how many courses and manufacturers never happened!
I have the G425 LST 3 wood and its great, but recently got to hit one of these and the numbers were very impressive. I ended up ordering one (had a few old things to trade in, so got a solid deal on it), looking forward to playing with it once it comes in!

550+ us for a fairway wood is beyond unacceptable! I thought the Stealth 2 plus at 450 was nuts, but at least if you buy that 5 wood it’s like having 6 clubs in your bag!
no way in hell I'm spending £500 on a 3wd and not even sure why you'd buy it. Why have a low spinning 3wd, can't hold a green off the deck and from the tee you might as well use driver. I've obviously missed the point and I like Ping.
Yes. All clubs are so expensive these days. That’s why I have to try and keep my clubs for 10+ years now
