  1. There is no way to tell how this will ultimately work out since some PGA members (or others associated with the PGA) may object legally, and for sure the US Congress seems like they will be holding hearings, not to mention anti-trust issues, etc. It will be interesting to see how this works during the interim.

  2. PGA Tour leadership's best defense is "I know nothing". Sgt. Shultz might as well be on the tour policy board. I still say screw the Saudis and suggest they invest in Spring Football. Four Aces vs Majestics. Road games in Australia. Hey, they showed interest.

  3. All of this discuss is irrelevant.
Monahan is no longer in the picture and more than likely won't ever be back in the picture.
The US Senate's investigation may prevent any merger from happening.
The PGA itself may be forced to convert to a for-profit business entity.
The LIV Golf product appeals to many people and golfers on that tour may not like the idea of having their league terminated.
This saga is only at the beginning stages, and will drag on for a very long time.
    Watch for it.

  4. A path back for LIV player to get back to PGA, a path for PGA players to go to LIV….. think about it…………….

  5. Spend some time teaching players what a imbeded ball is and how to make a proper drop.

  6. Next year will be a transition year. But starting in 2025, we're going to see more Top 25 players playing outside of the US. These guys are worried about the "lull" in the schedule right now….duh…that's a direct result of the 3 majors being played in a span of 10 weeks. The best (truly best, not Rory McLory) players want to be ready for the majors. Tiger did it when he was in his prime and the Rahms, Schefflers, etc are doing it now. When the dust clears, the new PGA Entity will make the very best players commit to playing 20-23 weeks each year, but 4 or 5 will be outside the US and 2 or 3 will be team/match play events. We're also going to see less 72 holes with a cut events than previously. This alone will provide players with more time off which is what they've been complaining about for a few years now. Oh, and the Presidents Cup will become PGA vs. LIV or some form of country vs. country elimination tournament which will attract huge interest across the globe. Anyone else notice how quiet Tiger has been during all this (as opposed to Rory who never shuts up)? Hmmm.

  7. Still only gonna watch the majors and team country events after this announcement

  8. I knew I didn’t like Ryan. With all due respect, dumb haircut. Chicken thighs are GROSS and gamey. And if you live down south, you should have a pool for after grilling. Suck it up buttercup 😢

  9. You can say what you want about board seats, the reality is the guy paying the money will make the calls. Or you don't get the money.
