But what did he shoot?
I'm more interested in driving accuracy than driving distance in terms of shots gained and winning performance. This is why The Open Championship is such a true test of golf as driving accuracy is a key factor. Obviously, when Rory combines driving distance and accuracy then this is certainly a sight to behold.
So take out the par 3s and he averaged like 289 yards a drive. Wtf is this stat?
He needs to sharpen up his short game.

I drove 4057 yards last Friday off the whites. So thinking we are missing a Zero here? Or the 4 slipped in as it should be a 6?
That’s only an average of 285 for 14 holes. Did he hit a driving iron? He hits 3 wood longer than that!
