  1. I have had kidney stones since age 19 I'm now 52 I have passed over one hundred stones. I've had 3 stints put in from my bladder to my kidneys I've been hospitalized several times and its absolutely the most pain a man can experience in my opinion. I passed a stone that was 1/4 inch long and an 1/8 wide and believe me I thought I was going to die. Hope he gets to feeling better, prayers for that guy.

  2. Had one yrs ago and it was the most painful thing I've ever experienced. It's like having knife stuck in your back.

  3. In Nov 21, I played golf with friends on a Sunday afternoon and did a night shift later on the Sunday. I had a prearranged heart test on the Monday afternoon but I wasn't expecting anything special having just passed a medical 3 weeks earlier. However 3 stents later and having to cancel a Caribbean cruise which my lass has not forgiven me for, I am still able to play golf!!

  4. I read once that of all sports, golf was the one which had the most injuries. Even a slight injury to a wrist or back will destroy a golfer's swing so that makes a lot of sense to me.

  5. Kidney stones are one of the more painful conditions that most people will ever suffer. Depending on the placement and size of the accretion, it can take weeks or months to pass though from the kidneys to the bladder and out of the urethra. Kidney function can be permanently compromised as well.
Fortunately, kidney stones can be broken up into a slurry of crystals through the use of sonic energy directed at the stones.
Here's hoping he gets rid of them soon and that he has success dealing with the underlying issues that allowed the stones to develop.

  6. What do you think… as a subject for discussion… the Travelers tournament… -21 after only 3 rounds… and Rham did not make the cut ???… may be he joust don’t want to be there a week after the us open? He can have some bad games… yes he can… but it is not the first time that too many good players didn’t show up at some tournaments…🤔🤔🤔🤔

  7. Back in 2000, I had frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitus) which prevented me from golfing for about 3 1/2 months. The doctor who was a sports medicine specialist was amazed at how quickly I recovered. I was very diligent with performing the rehab exercises once the shoulder started to thaw. He said most patients take 12 to 18 months to recover.

  8. I've had 6 kidney stones and they are not a good time, but as long as he can pass it, or have it dissolve in his bladder, he will be fine and back in short order. Here's hoping for the best.

  9. I don't wish passing stones on anyone. Mine showed at 3am during a deep sleep and had me crawling around on my living room floor screaming at the top of my lungs for my mommy! Every time I feel one move now it just no,no,no,no 🙏 dear God no! So far so good 😌

  10. yes it is very painful. i sat down after dinner a week ago when the pain started. Went to hospital they found a stone. Gave me meds and sent me home. Thankfully it passed a day ago. Left me queasy and weak. Hope to play this week. I wish you a speedy recovery and hope it never comes again.

  11. Sorry but kidney stones don't qualify as horrific. Painful yes, but quite common and they pass or they are removed. He's Canadian and they have free healthcare, not that he needs free treatment. Note: Joined tour in 2017, has won twice and earnt $13+ million … he can afford to miss a tournament.

  12. I’ve had 5-6, gets easier each time. First one took 9 days. Once it drops to the bladder there is no more pain as it pees out you don’t even know it and use a strainer to catch and analyze it. You get 3 pains as it goes from Kidneys to bladder – someone squeezing your nuts, a sharp internal pain and a dull pain as if someone is punching your kidneys. I travel with T3 and percacets but have not had any stores for 8+ years. DRINK FLUIDS FOLKS, LEMON WATER.

  13. Back in the mid 90's I played regularly for about 10 years i was an 18 handicap but i could play to about 12 on a good day but then I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and had to give it up, then last year with the meds i was on I felt ok enough to start again so I bought a cheap set and started going to the driving range to get myself to a point where I thought I'd be able to get back out on the course again and just as I felt I was at that point I had an accident and tore a ligament in my foot so for the last 10 weeks I've been on and off crutches and it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to get out any time soon, to say I'm gutted is an understatement !! So I know only too well how being ill can affect someone.

  14. Can I share. I’m in j my 40’s now. When I was 19 I got diagnosed with ME/CFS. Just back this year.
I have tried playing but could not manage the walk.
This year I bought an electric trolley which changed my life.
A very hard time but hopefully over the worst. Played my first competitive tournament yesterday and I played bad but loved the fact I was on a course playing. Finished with a net 78 15 place.

  15. Back in 2014 I was rushed to hospital with double pneumonia and while I was there I had a rheumatoid arthritis attack leaving me in constant pain, now in 2023 with my medication and a trial injection every two weeks I have now been able to get my clubs back out and play again only 9 holes at a time. The only thing is I think my stiff shafts are losing me distance and not knowing how long it will last don’t want it buy more clubs as AG fitter recommended TM P790’s so I am going to get new shafts for my old DCI 990’s lol. Wishing you and everyone well in 2023. Steve

  16. I've had all 3 1st I've had kidney stones which I passed pain is no joke worst of my life. 2nd I had to have 2 stones surgically removed pain afterwards when I went to pee each time for about a week. 3rd I've had 3 heart attacks over a 2 1/2 year period. Ended up having stents and a triple bypass surgery. The future doesn't look too great they say but at least I'm here now. I've got 2 new grandbabies and I just bought myself a new set of clubs ( pxg ). Get out and enjoy the time you have left is my advice to everyone !!!!!!!

  17. Battled kidney stones multiple times. Last one was the worst 5 month battle with no luck passing . Surgery with a stent put in for a week. Stent for me was worse than the stone. 5.3mm . Biggest I passed was 6.8mm . Hope he gets well quick ,
