This is will be the 3rd year as title favorites but this will also be the 3rd year as title disappointment. As long as JT and JB cannot handle the ball they are going no where. As long as the lights of playoffs are too bright of them and they become smaller instead of bigger when the lights are bright, then there is nothing gonna happen for the team. They will just be playoff contenders and nothing more.

Nuggets are still the favorites. Celtics aren't a great defensive team and they lost their best defender and their defensive leader! Porzingis is a great player, but also injury prone. Celtics are now better offensively, poorer defensively, and I also think they lost their soul to a degree by trading Marcus Smart. Celtics are probably the favorites out of the east at this point, but they are not the title favorites.

Celtics are not favorites just because they added KP. They don’t have an elite pg and don’t have a single player that can average 7-8 assists pg in playoffs. No team basketball, no chip, simple as that. And that’s the same reason why suns won’t win it. I’d still put nuggets and bucks ahead for that reason!
