This interview has me a fan of jon rahm.
Like Sergio, Rahm has had a problem for some time with how he's viewed in the US. Shutting up and playing great golf is one way. Seems he choses not to do that. Too emotional to be a double digit major winner.

I've entirely given up on the PGA Tour after having watched it for decades. This LIV matter is only a part of it. No more. I'm content to watch a few majors.

Golf is the only sport where the manufacturers basically state if you change the equipment rules we will sue you. In tennis they introduced a slower ball due to the power of the men ruining the sport. They should also change the raquets back to what they once were – wooden and small.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t like Jon after the Ryder Cup a few years ago, probably because he was so good and competitive…BUT, after watching a few interviews like this, he has because one of my favorite golfers of all time!!! Good luck this week Jon – rooting for you!!

As a golfer for over 60 years, in looking at this course, I wouldn't pay $35 to play it. I think professional golf is now a circus act. If one hits a great shot – as basically Rahm alluded to – and the contour of the green can throw you OFF the green (except for a small patch) – what' s the purpose. Donald Ross designed courses that "rewarded" good shots and penalized bad shots.
The decline of newly designed courses in my 6 decades of playing has been sad to watch. The high-tech of golf balls and clubs is also quite a loss.

It is betrayal for sure by the PGA. I am sure alot of the players are not happy about it. Terrible !!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is insulting to American golf and it's history !! The fathers of golf are rolling in their graves !!!!!!

Rahm always gives a good talk in front of the cameras. On the course he is a foul mouthed, bad tempered brat. Always finds something or someone to blame for a poor shot or missed putt.

The most dishonest and disgusting thing about the merger is that it elevates Donald Trump. The "Commander in Cheat", as one sports writer referres to him Is probably the biggest cheat in the history of the game of golf. According to some sources, Trump is known to go out and play a round of golf with his wife. He then declares that he is Club Champion because the round he played with his wife was some sort of club championship, even though no championship tournament had ever been announced. According to one source, Trump was in another state when a tournament was being held at one of his golf courses. He called up the club manager and asked what the lowest score was in the tournament. The manager told him what the lowest score was and Trump allegedly tells him to name him as tournament champion because he had shot a lower score on another course, which was not even in the same state.
OMG the interviewer sounds like she is hating being there. She was the same for all the interviews.

i loved watching the U. S. Open last weekend because everything was about golf. The players and announcers were back on their game. The fans were not and should not feel betrayed at this point. Fooooore!
