  1. "I'm free in that universe…" — What a line. Full interview drops tomorrow and it's so good. Subscribe if you haven't and we'll see you there.

  2. “Lebron had to be better than Mike” – What are you smoking? Lebron is not in the same league as MJ.

  3. Damn, this dude is not only a freak in basketball, he's a freak mentally and I mean that as a good thing. He's still a teenager and yet speaks with a higher level of understanding of the world than most people twice or more his age. The fact he didn't think he articulated it well enough because his first language is French is also nuts. I hope this dude stays as healthy as LeBron and we finally get our generation's Kareem.

  4. Seems like he’s partially BSing. You can’t be at the top and not know you’re at the top. He says his ego can’t take over, but what he means is he doesn’t want his ego to take over.

  5. JJ : do you feel any pressure?
Wendy: I don’t feel any pressure

1:06 let’s see how this ages. I’ll come back to this comment after a press conference saying pressure got to him. Don’t @ me

  6. Wilt Chamberlain is the greatest prospect ever. 7'1" in bare feet. 258 pounds as a rookie. 78 inch reach. Hands which could palm a bowling ball. Ran 100 yards in 10.9. Ran 440 in 49 seconds. Ran 880 in 1:58. Long jumped 22 feet. He averaged 46 minutes a game as a rookie. He put up 37 points and 27 rebounds and most likely averaged around 10 blocks a game. As a rookie. Wembanyama is a great young player but he won't play 46 minutes a game or average the numbers Wilt did. And he's not playing at 258 pounds as a rookie.

  7. What a special human. A breath of fresh air. We get so attuned to American culture that when we see Giannis, Jokic and now Victor, it's a real shock to the ideology.

  8. "He's reached enlightenment"

Best moment of this interview. Hope Victor has a long and prosperous and GREAT career in the NBA! He has his head on right and just seems so grounded and focused on the game, which seems to be a fleeting quality in NBA talent these days.

  9. I wasn't on the hypetrain at all. But i didn't know he was this smart, driven, focused and mature. He is PERFECT voor Pop in San Antonio. Gonna be fun to see.

  10. Every so often the universe gifts the world a figure the embodies the spirit in all that they do. I find it no coincidence that he’s so articulate and just as skilled on the court. He’s definitely made sure he deserves the spotlight he’s receiving. I feel God uses those who can handle the fame to truly bring forth and embody a message that will resonate with everyone deeply. JJ was shook and Wemby hasn’t even stepped foot on an NBA court yet haha, literally one of a kind guy. He’ll be a spectacle to watch and I can’t wait to be a witness. God bless him and his career!🙏
