Allen had a down year, but him and Burrow had similar numbers
Josh had a “down year” and still finished 2nd in total yards, tds, and qbr. He’s elite even when he’s not at his best

5045 total yards, 42 total TD’s, 35-14 TD-INT Ratio, 71.4 QBR (2nd in the league behind only Mahomes), 13-3 record
He’s at worst the 4th best QB in the league and at best the second. We’ve seen how much the Bills offense leans on his production. So miss me with this “Allen isn’t good enough” stuff.

I'm a Bengals fan. But I don't understand his absolute hate of Josh Allen. Like I agree Mahomes is better and of course I'm a Burrow guy but Allen is a bad mfr frfr.

He did nothing in college
He was 3rd quarterback drafted in his class

Josh had the hardest road to the nfl compared to mahomes,burrow, tua, hurts. The guy still has much to prove but Nick is just looking at the destination he never acknowledges josh Allen’s journey. The bills were irrelevant before Josh’s. The chiefs made the playoffs with Alex smith and Andy Reid.

I think the only reason why Allen was on the cover is the same as everyone here defending his honour. He's been over sold and under delivered. There's every excuse for him but with a solid offence and a great defence he's got very little done. I don't even know if he has any all pro votes ? Even a second team? He's defended staunchly but if he fails again the next few years even those guys will give up. Lots of potential but his football IQ isn't high enough with the competition in the AFC

@dcloki12 He was 2nd in QBR and overall production last year. Mahomes was on it twice. JA has now had 3 great statistical seasons and 4 playoff wins…he earned the cover. EOS.

It wouldn't shock me if the Bills miss the playoffs. Another year removed from Daboll as OC and the division/conference getting tougher (Rodgers, full year of Watson, Sean Payton now in Denver, Stroud/Richardson in AFC South, and others continuing to get better like Lawrence).

Since entering the nfl, josh has had at worst a top 11 defense. They're typically top 5. His defense has accumulated 131 turnovers in 5 years. The most in the nfl by a wide margin.
Allen leads the nfl in turnovers since 2018 with 80.
He has quite literally been given the best field position out of any qb in the nfl, and he leads in turnovers. 😂
It gets worse. He has played a total of 24 top 10 defenses.
Allen is 11-13 in those games.
