While there have been many exceptional professional golfers throughout history, not all of them have been able to secure a victory in a major championship. Here are a few notable golfers who, despite their talent and achievements, never won a golf major in their careers:

Colin Montgomerie: The Scottish golfer Colin Montgomerie was known for his remarkable consistency and dominant performances on the European Tour. He won the European Tour Order of Merit a record-breaking eight times but fell short of capturing a major championship. Montgomerie finished as a runner-up in the U.S. Open and The Open Championship on multiple occasions.

Lee Westwood: Lee Westwood, an English golfer, has enjoyed a successful career, amassing numerous wins on the European Tour and reaching the top of the Official World Golf Ranking. Despite his consistent performances and numerous close calls, including several top-3 finishes, Westwood has yet to claim a major championship victory.

Luke Donald: Luke Donald, also from England, reached the pinnacle of the golf world when he held the top spot in the Official World Golf Ranking. Donald was renowned for his precision and short game prowess, but he never managed to secure a major title. His best finishes include several top-5 results in major championships.

Sergio Garcia: Spanish golfer Sergio Garcia is one of the most talented players of his generation. He has achieved great success on the PGA Tour and European Tour, including winning The Players Championship. Despite his consistent play and numerous top-10 finishes, Garcia had to wait until 2017 to capture his first major championship, when he won The Masters Tournament.

Rickie Fowler: Known for his charismatic personality and stylish play, Rickie Fowler has been a fan favorite on the PGA Tour. Fowler has amassed several wins on the professional circuit, but he has yet to break through and claim a major championship victory. He has come close on multiple occasions, finishing as a runner-up in multiple majors.

Miguel Ángel Jiménez: The charismatic Spanish golfer Miguel Ángel Jiménez has enjoyed a long and successful career, particularly on the European Tour. Jiménez has won numerous titles and represented Europe in multiple Ryder Cup competitions. Despite his consistent performances, he never managed to secure a major championship win.

It is important to note that while these golfers have not won a major championship, they have still made significant contributions to the game of golf and achieved considerable success in their careers.
