  1. Are you guys rethinking your high noon sponsorship after all that plane noise all weekend?

  2. TC and boys, when are you going live during the broadcast so we can have your audio over the footage. It would be great to have the pod over the final hour of play and then bleed out into a post tourney analysis. Granted a bit of logistical complication but it would be great and give y’all a chance to give the NBC criticism some more merit

  3. Xander is the simulation. You simulate all the majors(US Open) 1000 times and he'll always end up around the top ten, but never really have a chance to win.

  4. I disagree on LACC it’s a Chambers Bay 2.0 cool quirky course but not a Major Course it should be reserved for amateur club championships

  5. 10:24 What you’re describing is part of the problem. Rory can’t rely on guys coming back to him-he has to go out there and get it. He’s lost this US Open in a similar fashion to last year’s Open-too passive and reactive on the Sunday.

  6. Appreciate the candid takes this week re: #usopen vibes, media, kits, et al! Father's Day brunch chatter w/ my kids included Larry David-esque rant about 3rd round tee times & "protecting the field." My kids & I always enjoy mocking Hazinger's cringe-worthy moments. Pretty clear that USGA/NBC jumped the shark on this one. I'd rather see an LA major spread out across Harding/Wilson/Roosevelt/Rancho – that could be fun, awesome for wagering, & make the event more relatable to the audience they claim to target. ✌️Eric

  7. This block party needs to become a speakeasy….. password only, must have the mark…. because "come thru" ain't it!!!

By the way there's no simulation in which Rory doesn't win RL by 57

  9. Regarding the attendance – Danny Rap had an interesting tweet reporting that of the 23,000 tickets only 9000 were general admission. The other 14,000 were the expensive hospitality tickets

  10. Long time listener, first time commenter…

Neil, your perspective and delivery of points surrounding golf fanhood is admirable to the highest degree. Refreshing and utterly enjoyable to hear in the modern day world.

Regards, everyone in the United Kingdom lucky enough to listen to your show. 👏🏻

  11. After seeing the mega queef on 18 not get punished, I may have made it all the back around to wanting narrow fairways and thick rough in US Opens…

  12. I was careful to avoid all spoilers, but before I watched round 4 (on replay) guess the channel's thumbnail I saw that had an image of Clark?
No Laying Up! Nice spoiler boys! Thanks!

I watched round 4 knowing Clark won thanks to the bright bulb at NLU who put Clark's image in the thumbnail! smh.

  13. Never again for LACC. It was alright but I don't think it was some great course like these guys made it out to be. And as a venue as a whole, this tournament sucked. Please never go back

  14. KVV, I heard it opposite of what you’ve said at 43:30.
I think Rory said he had the right club (the switched to 75% gap wedge), he just needed to wait 15-20 sec for gust to die down for it to be right.

  15. Mile wide fairways……Neil (as usual) keeps it real….course is a terrible venue for a US Open. If TC wants to mid-handicap fanboi the course for it's members, that's OK. But it's objectively a bad course for a major.

  16. Prime time is bullshit! Saturday night eastern time 11:30 pm was awful!!

  17. Constructive criticism: Down the leaderboard needs to end. I have the internet, I can read the leaderboard myself tron. Either find a way to do it that adds actual insight or stop wasting my time.

  18. I think dishing Brookline for not enough people while trying to defend LACC is a bad take. Brookline felt alive, and had a great design. Also it's a cool classic course as well in a city that shows up for golf.

  19. I’m aware I’m late on this because I listened on the podcast feed, but Tron’s bits are no longer entertaining, they’re just annoying. Can you be any more biased? I don’t even want to listen to any of his million takes that he’s never wrong about, dude is flat out annoying at this point & I’m a Trap Stoolie. Do better man.

Saying Tom Kim is a fraud but blindly riding for a college golfer who is 4 years older

Saying Cantlay is ass but Tommy is amazing for doing the same thing because it’s a top 5 and not 10? Really hard to listen to, had to do a 2.5X to get through it.

  20. @18:20— TC with immaculate execution of a saying of my own use in “Neil’s pissin on my leg and telling me it’s raining” 🥲

  21. Neil Neil Neil…..Rory just finished Second in the U.S Open. Give him and the rest of the World a Fucking break. How was your last round ?

  22. LACC was an absolute JOKE terrible place and people who run that place. They should never get another Major again
