  1. Hi everyone, first podcast together and my first one I've edited myself, so hopefully you like it! If you have any comments down below I'll get back to you with my response as soon as possible.

LOL – Lots of Love TAF xx

  2. Enjoyed that lads well done.
    Just a few things:
    – The hosts sound started off very echoey but improved as the pod went on.
    – I'd be careful about making definitive statements e.g. saying the Man Utd takeover is by the Qatari state (even though we all know it almost certainly is).

  3. Enjoyed this throughout, great work lads.

Personally had many conversations with many people online, and face-to-face about this ownership situation, including with Paddy.

I find myself wanting the Qatari ownership for several reasons, but I treasure differing opinions and debates, as long as those stay respectful.

The sports-washing debate is certainly one that’s rightfully at the forefront of this episode. I’ve no doubt that Qatar would be sports-washing.

However, when we talk about the soul of the club. Personally, I feel the soul is in us, the fans. The memories, and supporting the club via generation-to-generation.

The soul never disappeared under Glazer ownership, and we always kept fighting for change, striving for better, even when failing at times. In our worst season on the pitch as a club, the fans stuck with the club. That is the soul, for me personally.

Again, great work lads. Keep it up. I look forward to watching more episodes.

  4. Hey, that LA is a bit of alright isn’t he? 😂

Loved the laughs lads, looking forward to the next one

  5. Great podcast, it is a point about morals, being "clean" etc selling our souls, but my view is, football has become such a commercial enterprise now, with so much money for press,tv rights, transfers, agents etc its a global economy itself. To purchase a top 6 club is into the billions, and we all know, a lot of the billionaires, will have some skeletons in the cupboards! So we as clubs we either go for the lesser evil, but we dont always have the true facts for who is more or who is less. In terms of living of revenue without debt, whilst Man Utd, has a decent revenue, it will not be sufficient for them to spend 150ml per transfer season and spoend on the academy/training ground & most importantly the stadium which itself alone will be between 1.5-2BL. its a lot to digest but everything needs to be broken down. For Man Utd, ideal would have been to have 2/3 main bidders of global scale to help choose the suitable future owner. Unfortunately the glazers have overpriced the asset, so only a minority can show real interest. I am not a Man Utd fan, but a true football lover. Keep up the good work guys👍

  6. Great podcast guys. For me I don't think I can support the club anymore if Qater get us, hoping Ineos win but looking like Qatar 🙁
