As a Nuggets fan I wanted to see the two big men go at it in Jokic and Embiid. How in the hell did Philly lose in their series is a mystery to me. Embiid is a beast as well as Jokic. But I still believe that Denver would have won against Boston had they played them. Maybe we'll see Philly and Denver match up next year. People doggin Jokic because he can't jump. He jumped high enough to win in the finals.

From day one Embiid has shown he has fragile body, non-clutch nature, me-first mentality, and inability to accept personal responsibility and improve. Even if he was given a perfect front office, coaching staff, training and conditioning team, and lineup, at this point any playoff or finals success would/will likely be inspite of him not because of him.
Since they bright Jokic and the Nuggets up as a parallel and reason for hope, keep in mind that each time the Nuggets failed, Jokic and the team got better! It wasn’t just a matter of Jamal and MPJ getting healthy after their surgeries, each player literally improves, has a team-first focus or get traded tf out, and acquires a broader skills base.
They don’t just “let” Aaron Gordon shoot 3s like they said, he was making them consistently when called upon throughout the playoffs and finals crucial moments! Bruce Brown who nobody wanted became a superstar in Denver!
The organization and the team acquire, KEEP, and *develop* the ✨right✨✨ players and those players get better and better within that team! The Sixers are a mess from top to bottom and talent individuals will never be enough to get you past multi-talented, cohesive true teams in the playoffs. It’ll be interesting to see how things develop with them in the off season but getting Embiid a better supporting cast definitely won’t be enough.
Chances are that, if Embiid and squad don’t do a mindset to everything else overhaul QUICK, then maybe he’ll someday get to piggyback onto a dialed-in team’s success and sneak into a chip as a veteran off the bench, at best.

All I know is Embum played with Jimmy Butler, James Harden, Tyrese Maxey, Best version of Ben Simmons, and Jokic played with only Jamal and still won the championship. Philly fans your Guy sucks get him another MVP so you guys can win.

For real, the Celtics could have swept the Sixers if Harden didnt play great in games 1 and 4. There should have been no game 5 wherein Embiid, James, Harris and Maxey played great. Game 1, Embiid didnt play and Game 4, he played like thrash. His shots were blocked by a dinosaur in Horford 3x. If not for a game winning 3 from Harden, the Sixers will fall 3-1.
