Golf is a world wide game and shouldn't be limited to exclusively one tour to watch the WORLD's best compete. Golf Channel folks have been wrong on all predictions. Many of your comments are out of touch to what golf fans are wanting for experiences. Look at many of the YouTube content creators for golf. Rick Shiels is the man, not the PGA tour or PGA Tour players.

Khashoggi was killed during seven horrific minutes in which he was first tortured, then mutilated, injected with a sedative, and finally dismembered. After days of denial, Saudi Arabia finally said that Khashoggi died in a "fistfight" at its Istanbul consulate. PGA players and fans have little reason to fear the Saudis as they torture, mutilate, and dismember the tour as they did Jamal Khashoggi.
The focus on preserving the PGA tour by the purists is becoming tiring. These people just repeat the same things over and over to convince themselves they get to keep their jobs. The bubble they exist in can’t be burst. At some point you have to realize the PGA Tour just sold all of those traditions, legacies etc…. Remember this deal that just happened was never going to happen.
Mr. Sands, the Saudis get legitimized over this deal. Period. All they represent is now put on par with the USA and other democracies worldwide. Rory was taken to the cleaners in all of this. Tiger is holding his fire. He will not spin the truth.
This careful-speak corporate tap dance is sickening. Granted there's a ton of hypocrisy with US businesses and government being involved with Saudi Arabia but GD. I mean the PGA are nothing but whores for the money. Just like everybody else has become. Tragic but the new norm.
Frankly the PGA should treat the LIV tour like a “LAB” tour. There would be room for several LAB events opposite certain PGA events, if as Steve suggests the 2024 schedules will remain separate. Keep the shotgun starts, expand to 72 holes (even if you want to keep a 3 day schedule – 27 holes each of the first two days? Definitely do-able with shotgun.) Speed up the pace, use carts, distance restricted balls, try it all!

I liked Bryson as a golfer but I do think that he does misfire on a lot of topics. He should not be a standard bearer or spokesperson for any cause.

I agree with the anti-SA sentiments expressed last year by the PGA. Now that they’re wallowing in blood money, I’ve watched my last PGA event.
