  1. Hi Russell, Arnold Palmer was reported to play all of his irons off his left heal (just an fyi). I personally agree with your setup. 👍

  2. So would it be correct to say with your irons only, you want to play the ball in your stance where your sternum is as well as at the point of impact? If you put say 60% of your weight off your lead leg at setup, play the ball forward a couple of iron heads from the back of your lead foot? If your weight is 50-50 at setup you play the ball in the middle of your stance, directly below your sternum? The ball at setup should always be directly below your sternum for most all shots from wedges to 5-iron?

  3. I tried this way after you mentioned it in another video. It has really improved my game, especially with my irons. It promotes rotation in the downswing and through the ball. I have gained yards with far less duff shots. Thank you, great lesson.

  4. Intriguing and timely for me. I recall from when I first really began golfing in the '70's and read Nicklaus's 'Golf My Way' where he talked about hitting everything off of just inside of the front foot. I am going to try going back to this to get me out of the rut that I am in!
